Simply well made, solid, and good for the price. Above say 15X zoom you'd probably want a tripod or just use your elbows to brace the scope and limit shake. Great for nature, mountaineering, and viewing the moon. Love it!

First, the monocular itself earns a 4.5 star in my book. Very clear, crisp picture on the low end, and some loss of light transmission on the high end but not terrible. I actually used it on a hunt at twilight, and the low light quality was genuinely impressive at 10x. This is my new favorite hunting optic. It does weigh around a pound, and is 7 or 8 inches long, but it still fits in a cargo pocket comfortably and the weight is manageable for the capabilities it gives you. As far as the tripod...well its garbage, would probably be fine for spotting scope duty on a solid flat surface, but that's it. And I'm case you have read some of the lower reviews talking about the shake at the higher powers, those are individuals lacking in common sense. EVERY optic that is that high in magnification will have shake because YOU are shaking. The higher the magnification, the more this is emphasized in the image. Personally, I plan to get one of the flexible claw type tripods to use with this optic. I think it's versitile will compliment the eyeskey nicely.

This monocular is well made and appears to be quite durable. We were able to quickly focus with one hand and see very clearly at long distances. It was very easy to use and fairly easy to take along with the provided case. The tripod proved to be pretty much useless.

The quality of this item is not great, but it's not terrible. It's a good deal for the price. You get what you pay for. It is fairly sturdy, so if you take care of it it should last you a while. If you get it for a child- not so much. I would not recommend it for a younger child- maybe a teenager.
