This brush is great for curly hair. The one side detangles pretty well and the other one is great for smoothing and creating clumps. The only downside to this brush is it's size. I feel like it could have been made a little less bulky and thinner. But I'm sure it's made like that for a reason. Overall a good quality brush and I'd recommend it for shaping your curls during wet styling.

It’s a great brush, detangle hair really quickly, especially good for thick hair. The brush is strong and sturdy and also like it defines and smooths curls good. I recommend.

I have been a naturalista for over ten years. While I love being natural, the struggle of finding that “perfect” product, brush or comb is REAL! I have searched and searched for a brush that could detangle my hair without breaking it, or just simply getting stuck mid way (my hair is really thick). I purchased this on a whim and it has been A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I love the two sided feature, which allows for me to both detangle and define my curls with ease. It also has a thick handle, which makes the brush easy to grip. I also over love the feature that allows me to stand the brush on my counter! This brush has been a game changer for my wash days. It’s definitely worth it!!!

This brush is the TRUTH! It would be great if there was a travel size version of this brush. If you are tender headed be gentle when using this brush. The Unbrush has softer bristles, but this brush feels sturdier and has good weight and shape for the handle. Goes through tangles like a hot knife through butter. I can brush from root too tips on tangled hair, which is wild for someone with 3C curls.

I’m honestly shocked of how easy it is to detangle my hair ! I’ve been searching for a great quality brush for wash days. Unfortunately, I’ve been doing a little trial and error with detangling tools and loosing hair form breakage in the process. My sister recommended this brush for her 4B hair, which we have similar hair texture. I used it a few days ago for my wash day with a great conditioner and it was sooooo seamless and effortless when using the detangling side! I had normal shedding that’s not a result from the brush.

I think the brush is decent, but doesn’t live up to the hype for us girls with thick type 3-4hair. The right side was helpful with detangling, but definitely had some snagging and pulling at the ends even with conditioner

Detangles and defines curls great.

So I actually had to come back an edit my review because I realized I was taking about the wrong brush. This brush is still solid for detangling but it also low key pulled my hair out at times, so not great there. Overall, I still enjoy it, but I’d recommend being careful and very aware of what the brush is actually doing. I can’t say it added any definition or anything helpful, but it did help make styling slightly easier after having used it to detangle. It’s also pretty okay for giving a little bit of body and silk to my hair after I’ve worn it out stretched (but not straightened). Not bad but not as good for me as the reviews would have many believe.
