This is a great clipper
I am not a total beginner but this clipper is very helpful. I also bought the stainless steel guards which slide very nicely through the coat. I am always timid to clean the private areas but I did ok, very gently. The legs are also a challenge but the smallest comb on .07 setting did a great job and kept me from having to scissor cut. After an hour I still had 4 bars and the blade wasn't hot. The device is not very loud. This is a great tool for Shih Tzus because they have a lot of fluffy hair, which some clippers don't cut too well. This is my 3rd clipper (different models). The last one died. This one has a warranty. Thank you Wahl.
