Very handy chuck for dremel easy to mount and use

In the past I’ve bought a couple of chucks for the Dremel only to find they don’t fit, this does. It’s not as good as the one that came on my 20 year old Dremel. The chuck parts didn’t close together properly to start with but a little fiddling and it’s been working well, I guess it was just getting the chuck jaws to settle within the chuck body. If you don’t have a key less chuck it transforms using the Dremel, 2.35mm and 3mm just fit rather the old swapping out of the different sized mandrels (where have the pesky things gone). I can't say how consistent they are from one to the next, but the one I received is very precise - keeps the bit perfectly on-axis, no wobble. I can't measure runout, but it's absolutely sufficient for careful work, as good as the collets which came with my tool. I have it fitted to a Parkside PFBS 12 B6, which has a shaft outer diameter of 6.9mm. It simply threads in place, and the action of screwing it onto the shaft is what controls the chuck's jaws.

This was one of my best investments - and it’s inexpensive for what it is. I love my Dremel but was getting sick of messing about each time I had to change out an attachment, not to mention being frustrated by the fact that attachments come in differing shank sizes - so you need different size collects to suit! Having one of these chucks does away with all that nonsense. And the good news is that it takes around 30 seconds to change - simply unscrew the collet nut (holding down the blue button), pull out the collet, screw the new chuck on the exposed threaded drive shaft and you’re ready to go. Highly recommended.

Complete garbage, made of soft metal - looks like some sort of brass allow painted black. Item arrived seized shut and cannot be opened or closed without resorting to vice grips. Going in the bin.

Took a chance as it said it fitted dremel know a dremel chuck fitted a Parkside cordless rotary tool that it would to. As the base is thinner than a dremel original it fits with out needing* to modify the case nut on the rotary tool much simpler operation than the collets the tool came with *if using sub millimetre drills it needs the bore opening up a little a genuine dremel chuck would require the top 6mm of the nut removing

L’originale mi ha abbandonato a 5 minuti dal l’apertura del mio Dremel 4300. Ho ordinato questo mandrino e devo dire meglio dell’originale.
