Daily Cleansing Shampoo

I was skeptical when I bought this because when I was growing up, I never bought Crew products because my parents said they were too expensive. But I feel like the value on this bottle is pretty great. It takes a long time to get through this, especially with my hair being much shorter now. This bottle has lasted me months, and it smells great. My hair feels refreshed after using this, and when I travel and use some travel sized shampoos I notice the difference and miss my Crew Shampoo.

The "Naturally Derived" Flex: It’s vegan. It’s natural. My hair feels so clean that I’m pretty sure it’s starting to photosynthesize. I feel morally superior to my neighbor’s hair just by standing near it. The Texture: It doesn't leave my head feeling like a dried-out husk. I've been using this American Crew shampoo for a while now and I'm really happy with it. The citrus mint scent is fantastic - refreshing without being overpowering. The formula works great as an everyday shampoo and leaves my hair feeling clean without drying it out. I have grey hair and I alternate this with a specialized grey hair shampoo, and the combination works perfectly for me. The texture is nice and it lathers well, so a little goes a long way with this big bottle. My only complaint is the pump mechanism. The plastic tube inside is too short, so once you get about halfway through the bottle, it becomes really difficult to pump out product. You end up having to tilt the bottle or unscrew the pump to get the rest out, which is annoying for such a large container. Overall, it's an excellent shampoo for daily use at a good value, but that pump issue is frustrating enough to dock a star.

While American Crew's products may be priced slightly higher than some drugstore brands, I believe the quality justifies the cost. A little goes a long way with this shampoo, so a single bottle lasts a good while. Honestly, his hair looks great, healthy and shiny and he's (finally) very happy with this product. I highly recommend giving it a try.
