Works for my Dyson! The connector has multiple flexible rings inside, i believe it does truly fit with most vacuum hoses.

Yes, we had a sock in our dryer vent!! This past summer, the lint trap broke on our dryer. Our kids ran the dryer regardless! What disaster. Someone came out to fix our dryer, but told us we would probably need to get out a shop vac to get the lint out of the vents. Still, wet clothes, three weeks later. I decided to look for someone on amazon. Received my vacuum kit today, and now my clothes are dry! I sucked up the sock as well as a piece of lint roller tape. Great product!

My drier was taking several cycles to dry a load of towels. I cleaned out the larger vent areas but couldn’t reach in at the lint trap. I ordered this item. I got quite a bit out. The fact that the tube was folded in packing caused a little trouble. It seemed to have a mind of its own when I pushed it down in there. But I was able to work around it. I took out the six screws holding the lint trap in. I would never do that again. I thought I would never get it back on, and it didn’t helpthat much. Other reviews talk about the fact that this item is just a nozzle and a tube. That is correct, and it probably cost very little it make. But you are paying for the idea. The cone fit tightly right on my vacuum hose. I don’t know of any other way to clean this out. The brushes you can buy just knock the stuff down. I wanted to pull it out. I am happy with this and would recommend it for purchase.

At first, I went to a big box hardware store to try to make something like this but the price quickly added up to more than what this item costs so I decided to order this. And I am super glad I did. Our name brand dryer is only about a year and a half old and we empty the lint trap after every load. I hooked this product up to our vacuum and couldn’t believe how much lint, dust and debris it pulled out! This product is well worth the money, easy to use and will pay for itself in the long run by maintaining the efficiency and drying power of our dryer. I saw this product was recommended by Consumer Reports for cleaning out the dryer lint vent. It was amazing how much collected underneath the trap, even with cleaning it out before each load. This easily connected to my Shark vacuum hose and allowed me to remove years of dryer lint with little effort. If the tubing was a little more rigid, removal probably would have been even easier, but I was able to sort of nudge the end of the tube where I needed it to be directed with the use of a paint stir stick. My dryer is back to running a whole lot more quietly and with shorter dry times. Definitely recommend this product!

Easy to use. I couldn’t believe the amount of lint this kit pulled from out dryer. We have pets so I wanted something that didn’t take up a lot of room but was easy to use each month.

I just received this dryer vent cleaner kit &I couldn’t wait to try it out with my handheld Dyson vaccum! It worked beautifully! I had bought a long thin vent brush several years ago which I used to scrap the walls of the vent, but I could not collect the fine material I brushed off. You can see, hopefully, that fine combustible material easily was vacuumed up today! Even found a button I had been unable to match previously! I am delighted!

Great product for the price. It got all of the lint out of my dryer vint trap that I could not get out before. It also got lint out of the back of the dryer and the tubing behind the wall. I wish the opening that sucks the lint was a little larger, but I guess if it was it wouldn’t be able to fit in the hard to reach places. I would recommend!

I was so excited to test this product out but had a baby and just now got a chance to use and review. I would compare it to a vacuum hose without a hard tool or even a plastic head to secure it.So maybe it can be used for vents that have wider openings that you can have your hand inside the vent for hose control but not recommended for narrow or small vent openings that your hand cant move freely in while trying to operate the hose as it's not structured enough for the job.Good luck with cleaning your vents.

The metal fishing attachment is so flimsy it doesn't help push the hose in at all.I got a tiny piece of lint. And it got stuck. Was easier to just get my manual fishing wand cleaner and just poke thru and pull out lint.I can't recommend this expensive plastic.

Used this with my stick vacuum so I could see how much it picked up and as you can see th container is 75% full. Easy to use and got a lot of lint. Next time will use with regular vacuum, but very happy with the result. Despite the lint filter it’s surprising how much gets inside the machine. Received a week ahead of projected delivery too.

This is a total waste of money. Although it fit my vacuum nozzle (a dyson v8), the tube is so flimsy that it does not have the strength to stay in place to suck anything up. It just ravels in a circle and picks nothing up. Very disappointed in this item.

I used a flat vent cleaner first(another type)and ran into plugs, got most out. Then I used this one, this didn't seem to plug up as bad as the flat one. Having the wire is better than not having one.You just got to spend sometime in working this tool to do cleaning.Having a brush is a must to get big lint out. The attachment fits good. wire handle is a good to have it to assist in vacuuming.I made a makeshift vent cleaner before, ya it worked. But have an acutal vent cleaner makes it easier.Also I noticed my clothes is drying faster, so it pays off in electricity any breakdowns, cost, stress and fires!
