Could my adult corn snake burrow well in it?

I would think so, yes. Corn snakes do not need a very deep substrate to burrow in. I've had 2 adults ranging in length from 4-5 feet. They will happily burrow in bark substrate 2 to 4 inches deep. Pile it up towards the back of the tank, and maybe place a 4-inch wide plank of wood paneling or acrylic in front of the door to act as a higher barrier. You'll be fine. Something to note: if you use an under-tank heating source, make sure it's regulated or you risk burning the snake when it burrows. Use a thermostat set to 85 or so.

am I able to use this with a heating pad instead of a lamp

I have recently ordered this product to house my male mouse. How water resistant is the material/should I seal it with another product?

Thank you for the question. The material itself is water resistant, and will not absorb moisture. The unit however is not watertight. If you need it to be watertight, you will need to seal it.

For the heating pad, would it go on the outside bottom still? What would be a good size to heat through?

I recommend putting the heating pad on the outside and using a thermostat. If you **HAVE** to put it inside, place a heavy tile or slate rock that covers the ENTIRE heating pad with a thermostat. Make certain that the thermostat probe is secured to the tile/rock.

Best Snake Enclosure

This is absolutely awesome! Extremely well constructed and high quality. Very easy to put together even for someone like me. I have absolutely no patience and I'm not mechanically inclined at all and it was still easy for me to put together. Maybe took me 30 minutes tops. The price for this was unbeatable. You try to buy something like this in a petstore and you are easily paying double. Perfect size too. Just fyi I bought this for my Green Tree Python. Get it, you won't be sorry.

Awesome vivarium and very easy setup

Am in UK and ordered this. So easy do set up very simple now wanted get bigger size.jist bought small size try out. Very happy strong glass and easy setup but my suggestion after set it up I recommend sealing sides aquarium silicone so not get bits of substrate and leak water but over all first class vivarium I wish sold these at shops in UK . I will get anyone future without doubt
