Received this as a gift and loved it! We purchased other games from this company because of the portability and entertainment for kids. Love these games! Magnetic pieces are awesome and make this an easy and fun activity for kids!

The best! I bought a bunch of these. They are wonderful. I like that I can clean them too. I bought this for a long flight to entertain my toddler. He loves playing these games. We even pack them to go for picnics now. Great travel game! Even to play at home too. Easy to put away too since it’s small! Bring it to a restaurant while waiting, family homes that don’t have toys, leave in a diaper bag or car!!! Love it!

There are 36 small (less than 1"x1") magnetic picture squares/tiles that you (obviously) lay face down on a (6.5"x6.5") grid. But, the grid does not have space between the rows/columns (and there's not much wiggle room), so it makes it difficult to flip over a tile without moving other tiles. It's a little hard to keep the tiles in their original places. The magnet doesn't seem too strong, so they do slide a little making it hard to keep the tiles in their original places, but when I flip the whole board over & even shake it a little, nothing falls off. Definitely nice and compact, easy to take on travel/vacation. Not sure I'd take it on car/plane ride that would be too bumpy. There is technically not enough room on either of the Player 1/Player 2 matches for more than 1/2 the 'winning' tiles, but I don't think that's a big issue. I have a 3.5 yo & he manages the game fine.

I purchased this game for my 7-10 year olds at church. Service starts at 11:00am CST, but I sign in young people starting at 10:30. I wanted an energizer before service and this game is perfect. This pieces stay in the kit nd they are magnetic I’m so happy about this purchase.

What a fun idea!! These are great games for traveling. The pieces are really thick and the magnets work well. Just be sure to open these up and throw out all the garbage before you get in your car. You have to separate the pieces from the foam and there is also quite a bit of plastic. My kids will love these!!

I love the simple concept of a magnetic travel-friendly matching game. It's lightweight and self-contained, which makes it a great travel companion. That said, the magnet is only on the image side (when image is faced down for matching) and is not very strong, so once matched it does not stay put on the lid when you have image side up as I would expect one to have. A bump in the road or turbulence is an easy way for the pieces to get knocked out of its place... Could easily be resolved if the magnet was strong enough or was on both sides of the pieces.

These Take n Play games are sturdy, fun, and affordable. We love them. They are just the right size to be compact and travel-worth, but not too small that they cannot be used comfortably. They are hard to find these days in-store around here in the North Shore area, so grab them when you can find them. That's what I did here on Amazon and for a great price, too! The magnets, size, color, and feel are perfect.
