This tool is a life saver. Ingenious in operation and easy to use. Cuts copper 1/2" - 1" like butter and saves a ton of time. Highly recommend for professional or DIY. I purchased for DIY boiler replacement job installing combi unit which required relocation of supply and return plumbing a distance from the original boiler location. So there was a lot of copper to fit. You won't be disappointment.

I’m shifting toward Milwaukee…..amazing tool, it allowed me to do 3 days work in 1! Would highly recommend but I’m concerned about maintenance of the tool! Like a jackhammer it’s lubricated so long term it’s a concern! I still give it 5 stars because it would pay for itself on one job! I’m optimistic so I’ll do a follow up

I'll tell you straight up, I grabbed a second battery for it, but it's a workhorse that goes all day without slowing down. I've put it through its paces, easily making well over 500 cuts in copper ranging from 1/2 to 1 inch, and it's still running smooth as butter. Just be aware, it leaves a bit of a burr, so consider picking up a power chamfer head to save your wrists. This cutter is the industry's first cordless lithium-ion copper tubing cutter and from my expertise the best currently on the market, and it's a speed demon, easy to run controls you can till that it was Engineered with end users in mind. Now, what sets this apart is its ability to automatically adjust to cut type standard copper pipes from 3/8" to 1" in diameter with swapping the head, even in tight spaces with as little clearance. The built-in LED light illuminates the cutting surface, very nice in a crawl space.

I absolutely love this product! It has made a significant difference in my work as a commercial plumber, especially for copper water lines. While residential service plumbers may find it handy, it may not see as much use compared to commercial use. Cutting 3/4” and 1” pipes is a breeze, though 1/2” can be a bit tricky at times. Highly recommend it for anyone in the plumbing business!

I have used this tool to break long lengths of scrap copper tubing (salvaged from house demolition) into manageable lengths. This tool made short work of a sizeable pile of tubing. Some of the tubing had fitting, Scrap buyers pay more for tubing without fittings. This cutter also lopped off these fittings with ease. Being compact size, battery powered and modest weight allowed me to reclaim copper in small, tight areas within. This is my secondunit. I gave the first Milwaukee to my brother. He agrees the size, weight an battery powered makes some jobs which would be difficult or impossible easy breezy. Price is fair(other suppliers sell the exact same unit for more. My purchase included a hard plastic carry case. I wiil by another if mine becomes damaged and unuseable.

I love the product so far and am looking into the 1”-2” product as well. This thing is a game changer for commercial plumbers who do a lot of copper water lines. I think for residential service plumbers it can come in handy but may not got 200$ of use as fast as a commercial guy. As far as cutting pipe 3/4” and 1” are 0 problem. 1/2” can be a little bit tricky. It will do it but there is a certain finesse required with the tool. Like all tools you’ve never used before it takes some getting used to. Don’t be discouraged on day one if it’s not working like you want it to. I promise it’s because you’re not working like it wants you to. 5 stars from me guys.

Thought I already Did a review on this one but does not work well with K copper maybe it works better on rigid but I bought it for K it says it worked on it but it doesn't cut it all the way through kind of a waste of money I probably should have sent it back
