Is this a solid black necklace or is the black just painted on? I don't want a necklace where the black wears off or starts to flake. Thanks.

Hey, i just checked and i can see a few tiny places where the original silver is starting to show. It is at the top part of the necklace. I have only worn it for two weeks since i bought it.

What is the diameter for the ends of the chain? Is there a seam in the loop at the end where it could be separated and reattached?

Dear, sure, it can be separated and reattached. Since stainless steel is much hard, maybe you need a pliers to assist. Thank you for your question. Have a nice day!

Could this be good as a weapon?

Anything can be used as a "weapon"
