This series got me back into reading
I was taking a week long road trip and decided it would be a good call to get a book, so I landed on the beauty and the beast retelling, I figured it's a good story and I love a good romance so why not. Well... I read that book in a week and heartbroken as if Elliot just dumped me, I decided to choose another.Cinderella has never been my favorite fairytale but ember was in the other so i fought my instincts to go for snow white and got this one and I absolutely loved it! I finished it in nearly 3 days!! I actually liked it more than the other because it has a bit more world building and suspense. It will keep you turning the pages. I actually really found myself loving ember and although I'm not one for the "playboy" male love interest typically, Franco ended up stealing my heart. Their witty banter had me grinning ear to ear at times! I absolutely adored this book, when I was younger I read a lot, but as an adult, life gets busy and other things take priority, but I just can't get enough of this world and their stories! Just a delightful, happily ever after read that addresses some pretty heavy and dark problems in the real world, causing you to reflect inwardly on things. I can't wait to get another and I'm sure I'll blow through that one as well!If you find yourself unsure about dipping your toes into this magical world, give it a shot. I'm so happy I did! There's lovely world building and the characters will make you fall in love, and still, the romance takes center stage, at times you just want to smack them for not listening to their heart, but that just fuels you to want to keep reading! I give this my full 5 stars, I honestly would give it more if I could and I will be rereading them with just as much enthusiasm!

Long-Winded
This just was not my thing. I love fairy tale romance, but not this one.It took almost 100 pages for the two main love interests to even meet. There was way to much unnecessary detail.I also did not particularly care for Franco. Like he's a Fae and a vampire? Wtf. If I wanted to read a vampire book I would have bought one. Also found the female love-interest annoying. She felt like a hollow character without much substance. Maybe it changed at the end of the book but I lost interest around page 140 and gave up.Maybe it is someone else's cup of tea, but just not mine.

Loved it!
My husband bought me Curse of the Wolf King for Valentine's Day, and I was immediately hooked. I love the world that the author has built, and it's so fun that while these stories can all be read as stone-alone novels, they still incorporate characters from the other books. I can't wait for her other novels to come out later this year. These are easy to read and the characters are so lovable. I definitely recommend this if you love fairy tale retellings mixed with fae lore.

Unique fantasy romance that makes for a quick and satisfying read!
I absolutely loved Franco in Odette’s first fae trilogy, and was so excited that he’d get his own book with a HEA! This Cinderella retelling is a quick and light hearted read. The romance is slow burn and the tension between the characters is so good! I love how the Cinderella narrative was woven into the unique Victorian fantasy fae world that Odette created. Definitely give this book a read if you love fantasy and are looking for a fun palate cleanser!
