This worked really well for me during a 7 day trip to Belize. I felt great, did all the adventures, and was able to eat with minimal worry about losing a day in the bathroom. However, when I got home - I realized they had not completely protected me and still ended up with some mild diarrhea. Definitely helpful, but not full proof. Will still buy for my next trip!

Very effective, very happy with purchase, will buy again. No taste at all, easy to swallow, a little pricy, but works well. I had no pain, so- can't comment on it.
