Bought this great musical toy for my 13 yr old who really wanted one for Christmas. It's simple to play for any age but if you don't like high pitched noises in your home, this probably isn't for you! My son loves it though..

First of all, the design is adorable. Second, it is so fun to play with! My kids got them as gifts and my husband and I have played with them far more, lol. It took a while to get the hand of using it. Once you figure out how to hold it and the correct amount of pressure on the neck and the timing of when to squeeze the cheeks to open the mouth...man, I love this thing so much! This little thing has brought us hours laughter and joy, just being silly with it. We've now gone off the deep end of shopping for all sorts of synthesizers because of how cool this instrument is. 100% worth the money whether you're 5 or 105. This passes the test! My son makes the silliest faces when he plays it. Looks like a 70s rock star doing a guitar solo (and he's never seen someone do that, he's truly just feeling it).

I don’t know what a Miku is, and that makes me sad as someone who didn’t know I had reached the “kids these days with their this and that” stage of life. I got this for my 13 year old daughter. I won at presents that day. Her cousins were jealous and all took turns, actually killing the first set of batteries in 2 days. It was so much fun and smiles all around.

My grandson really enjoys making music with this!

Bought as a gift. Daughter has been wanting this for a while now. It was quite a bit bigger than I expected, but then again, I've never bought, held, or looked at an otamatone. Has a good weight too it, doesn't feel cheap. Slightly expensive, but if you are a collector (like she is) I guess it's worth it.

My daughter is a proud “band geek“ and had this on her list. She was thrilled to get it for Christmas yesterday, and I must say it is an adorable thing. I don’t know if she will use it in any capacity for band, but she loved it so of course I recommend it.

It's Miku merch so I'll keep it but I was hoping to get some instrument use out of it. I don't know if that's just the nature of otamatones in general but it's kind of janky. Gotta press down really hard to get a note to play and it sounds trebly and peaky, not a pleasant sound at all. Again if that's just the nature of the product then don't listen to me but if it's supposed to have some semblance of quality to it, it missed the mark by a wide margin.

This is a Christmas gift so not tried but arrived quickly and looks to be good quality. Great for those who love anime
