Hi Darnell, yes it would brighten the gray hair in your salt and pepper hair. It won't affect the dark hair. The Silver Fox shampoo is specifically designed for grey, bleached, highlighted hair. That does not mean all your hair has to be grey or blonde. It will do just the same on the grey strands of hair or bleached highlights. Hope this helps.
