What is the acc yellow wire for?? i’m looking on the instructions me cannot find it.

Fits 2014 gmc sierra

I bought this for the housing not the bulb. My original was getting water inside so I decided to try these. You get a left and a right side with this. It popped right in and looks great. Great deal considering a original from gm was 98$ for one
