What is actual thread size in diameter ? is it 1/2" od, 3/8" od

This is a 3/8" MNPT connection - Male National Pipe Thread - the outside diameter is a tapered thread and averages about 5/8". The inside diameter is 3/8".

is the float adjustable?

Yep. Just need a 1/4" wrench and an allen wrench. Just did it a week ago.

What are the actual dimensions? How can one order it in white?

I bought one of these float valves in 2013 for my pool. It projects 7" out from the socket when threaded into it. It just fits into my pool water feed well which is 7-7/8" inside diameter and the float just clears the far wall. It has worked great for a couple of years now.
