The squirrel cage fans in our fireplace insert were over 40 years old. Even with regular cleanings and lubrication, they finally reached the point where they would spin no more. An internet swears for replacements featured several available via amazon.com. The Yiming model GZ2550 was the best fit for the available space that existed in the base of the fireplace insert. Some drilling of sheet metal was required to secure the fans into the existing mounting holes of the cast-iron fireplace insert. The modifications were minor, and accomplished in very little time. A DPDT toggle switch was installed to replace the nonworking original switch. The finished project is quiet in operation and circulates a large quantity of heat throughout the room. Mission accomplished by using the right replacement parts and a bit of American ingenuity!

Replaced a very noisy obnoxious OEM fan. This was drop in and nice and quiet. 1/10 the price of the Archguard spare part fan.

Product arrived on time and surprisingly was exactly like the original that Napolean used on our Havelock fireplace. Mounting holes were in exact location and electrical wiring connections were the same. Very easy to install and fan is very quiet. Price is very reasonable compared to one I sourced locally for my last fireplace. Hopefully it withstands the test of time.

A perfect fit for my Napoleon Gas Fireplace, this blower motor is quiet in its operation and 1/3 the cost of an original motor from the local Napoleon dealer. I used the included optional self-stick "cushions" that came with the motor as I felt they might help isolate the metal motor from heat and therefore decrease the life of the ball bearing that wore out after 11 years on the original motor. We use this gas fireplace to heat a 700 square foot office/sitting area in our home and it pretty much is in operation for about 5-6 months of the year.
