Hello, 4allfamily biogel pack is compatible with 4allfamily Medicine coolers upgraded model, compatible with 4allfamily insulin cooler travel case classic model and also compatible with large nomad model. The biogel would offer protection for 30 hours ( fridge temperature 36-45F). Moreover 4allfamily biogel can keep room temperature for up to 50 hours ( 36-79). Best, 4allfamily customer care ❤

why are product dimensions so different in the detail description (6.69 x 2.36 x 1.57) vs the pictured dimensins (7.5 x 2 x 1.1) for the nomad?

Putting in hotel fridge has worked for me. I have frozen this icepack and did not need a fridge for the weekend. Works great i strongly recommend. Only problem you will get stop by TSA but you can board with pack.

If you have no access to a freezer during travel, will storing the biogel in a hotel fridge be sufficient to solidify it again?

No. I’ve tried the fridge, hotel ice bucket, and ice bath, and none have refrozen it while traveling. I have found that most hotels have a freezer onsite and will freeze it for you if you take it down to the front desk.
