Keyboard Switch Lube with 205G0 105 Lube for Mechanical Keyboard Cherry Mx Switches Spring Stabilizers

The price was right. I got their tray thing too that came with tools and another lube. They said that lube was more for tactiles (a 3203?). So I got this kit too. I used the liquid lube to bag lube the springs in one of the little bags one of these came with. It worked good. Was my first time lubing switches. I actually lubed the royal kludge Veridian switches. It made a difference. They actually sound less high pitched and more subtle or thocky I guess. Lubed they sound like the Milky Yellows do out of the box. I'm glad I grabbed this lube to add to my arsenal. I do wish I put a tad bit more in there as it dampens a lot of the plastic on plastic sound of full depress. It makes sense as the lube is thick and coating the stem. The stem comes lubed on most switches now. But it's a light lube and it made a difference for the better.

Lube is lube is lube, and this stuff is no different. Packaging came with 2 little brushes to apply the lube, which was nice. Containers for the 205G0 and 105G0 are both good for the type of lubricant they are.

I recently bought a kit to build my own keyboard. When it was time to attach my keycaps I realized I needed lube for my switches. Though it’s not mandatory I like how it feels compared to no lube. This product arrived quickly and intact with no leaks. It was easy to open and apply. 10/10 recommend this live.

One order with both the grease and oil, I was able to completely restore a Corsair Strafe mk1 with the oil, and used the grease for the stabilizers on that. And then I restored a membrane lycosa special mirror edition with the grease mainly, and had to finish it with the oil for just the 1-0 qwerty keys cause I ran out of the grease. The grease needs more in the container for sure, although the oil is awesome and more than enough for a single mechanical keyboard. For $10 the value is ok. Wish they sold bigger sizes.

This stuff really does work. Just remember, grease holds debris, so less is more.

The tops to these containers are like a dam made of paper across a shallow lazy river. There's not much to stop, but these aren't gonna do a dam(n) thing anyway. I lubed up some switch springs then secured the dropper top on the small bottle of GPL 105 and left it alone on my desk. This was a mistake. I should have taken more care given that the bottle shipped in a small plastic bag which seemed like someone had lubed it the way I lube up springs...Few drops of oil in the bag and shaken thoroughly. After the bottle had been left unattended for 30 minutes or so, I looked up to see that the entire contents of the bottle that weren't secured by gravity had spilled into a translucent slippery puddle on my Fiskars cut mat. The container for the GPL 205 g0 clearly has a similar issue, the outside of it came cuddled in the embrace of it's own vomitous film. The brushes are clearly a bargain bin afterthought, they're serviceable à la the pilots that volunteered at the end of the film "Independence Day" - not intended to last very long or be very effective. It gets two stars for being a cheaper alternative to krytox, since all the youtube videos we're so voraciously consuming always recommend that. To be fair it seems effective as lube, just wish it came in vessels that were properly suited to the task.

Ordered and paid for two lubricants and two brushes but only received 3 items.

Let me start with: Packaging: ● The three items are stuffed in a small zip lock pouch. This is OK for the little jars but not the little brushes. The brush heads are bent. I won't be using them. ● The cream like lubricant doesn't fill the container. Half of the container is just that, the container. The other half holds the product, but you're not getting a full portion either. ● The container with dropper is fine. Don't think I received enough product for the price point.

I used the 105 to lube the springs and the 205 for the switch and stabilizers of my gateron optical browns. Now, typing on my cheap optical keyboard feels smooth. The lubed keys sound like gentle rain on window which I really find satisfying.

Das Mausrad quitscht nach zwei Jahren? Mit Antiquitsch kein Problem. Ja, Made in China, aber inzwischen einzeln zusatzverpackt, sodass die Lieferung heil ankommt. Sollte nach meinen Berechnungen für die nächsten 762 Jahre halten, weil man nur minimal aufträgt.

Nice quality grease and oil and has definitely improved the feel and sound of the switches.

Good quality lube for the price and amount. One of the best options without paying double the price for glorious or krytox. Arrived in a under a week.

Habe ich benutzt um die Trigger vom quietschen zu befreien, ist ein Wundermittel. Jetzt ist auch endlich mal ruhe, wenn man die Schultertasten durchdrückt. Einziger Manko ist, das das Tütchen wo es drin war leicht ausgelaufen ist und man hinterher ein wenig an den Händen hatte. Aber aus der Dose hat nichts gefehlt, fand ich schon komisch. Wer sich vor Fett ekelt ist hier sowieso falsch!
