T3 Kanpeki Boxing Gloves for Men and Women

The first thing you will notice about these gloves are class. I know that most people will look elsewhere when they see the price, but for me these gloves are top notch. I have limited experience with boxing gloves, and while I have worn many different brands, these are the first that I have purchased. I like to hit the speed bag, and double end bag so I never had use for a true boxing glove. But since I just got a heavy bag, I needed a good pair of gloves to protect my hands. The gloves came in a nice canvas bag with a thick rope to close it. They also came with a pair of mini leather boxing gloves and a key chain. I love products that pay attention to detail. You pay a premium for these gloves and upon opening the shipping box, you see that nice extras are included. The leather on these gloves is very unique. It is very high end and instead of flashy colors, you get something more likely to be found on leather goods. For me these gloves do not need a fancy color scheme, the high quality leather speaks for itself. I have average sized hands and I opted for the 16oz version since I am 5'10", 190 lbs. If I do use these for sparring,I wanted to make sure that I have enough cushion to protect my partner. I also want maximum hand protection when hitting the heavy bag since I do need to earn money at work, and cannot do so with hurt hands. With wraps on the gloves, well they fit like a glove. I find them easy enough to put on by myself as the hook and loop/velcro closure is easy to grab and pull closed. With wraps on and hitting the heavy bag I feel I have good support for my wrists, and plenty of cushion for my knuckles. I like the 16oz version as even shadow boxing can give you a nice workout due to the extra weight. It is still winter so I cannot attest to how they breath when you get real sweaty, and I will update the review in the future to address this, and to also see how the gloves are holding up. On the heavy bag the gloves are perfect. My hands feel great after a workout, but on the double end bag they are overkill. I really have to hit much lighter than with the thin double end bag gloves or bare handed.

Let me say I absolutely love Hayabusa gloves and have never had a bad experience with any of their gear or their customer service. Unfortunately, when it was time for me to buy a new pair for sparring, I wanted 16oz black gloves, and the original T3s were sold out. So I spent a little extra and ordered thud version in all black. I'm glad I did! These are even BETTER. The fit is instantly perfect, and the protection is still second to none. The best thing is that these aren't quite as bulky. The originals in 16oz feel a little bit like giant marshmallows. These are streamlined and sleek. The leather feel is like nothing else. The other T3s take a decent time frame to break in. These feel 100% perfect from the very first time. If you have wondered about buying these over the original, this comment is for you. Buy them. You won't regret it. Just like the originals made it impossible for me to go back to run of the mill gloves. These will be my new go to.

The best gloves I've ever owned , stunning to look at and so comfortable with excellent wrist support and even comes with a cool bag to keep the gloves in

Build quality and comfort is amazing. However for somebody with hands on the smaller side like myself. The positioning of the hands is uncomfortable. The gloves are also too stiff to open your palm up for clinching which I could see being a none issue once they’re broken in. Sadly I had to return them due to size issues. But they are definitely a beautiful piece of equipment. Price is steep tho!
