Eve Room (Apple Home) - Indoor air quality sensor to monitor air quality (VOC), temperature and humidity, Bluetooth, Thread

As an existing user of Eve products, I can confidently say that the Eve Room is another fantastic addition to my smart home setup. It seamlessly integrates with Apple Home and provides accurate real-time monitoring of air quality, temperature, and humidity. The design is sleek and modern, and it’s incredibly easy to set up. I love how it gives me insights into the air quality of my home, and the data syncs effortlessly across all my devices. Another high-quality, reliable product from Eve! Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their indoor environment.

Curious to try out this device so here goes! It seems pretty accurate, readings are matching an Oregon Scientific weather station unit. I’d have to assume the air quality is accurate too. Communicates with the Eve app on my iPad at home and readings update on my iPhone whilst out and about via the Apple Home app. Setup - The QR code registered the device no problem, however, the unit gave absurd readings which was worrying. After fully charging, did a soft reset and true readings were displayed. Phew!

Works great, recharging a little annoying but doesn’t take long or often. Integrates with HomeKit well. Native app provides a good history. Image only shows bad quality because I stuck it next to the cooker for the photo.

Doesn’t work

Excellent product. Does what it’s supposed to. Was impressed with the first purchase so bought two more.

When I was researching which air quality monitors to buy, the Eve Room kept coming up and I think with good reason. Setup was quick, using the free app. Firmware updates were easy to install, and the quality and battery life have been excellent with over two weeks of use at this point. I’m considering buying another one for another room.

I bought this EVE thermometer because it integrates easily with my (Apple) Home infrastructure. This one replaces a previous unit that lasted 4 years before it stopped working, so I’ve deducted one start from this review because - for the money - I’d expect better longevity. Hopefully this new unit will survive longer than 4 years!

Lovely quality, fairly accurate, way too expensive, and no wall mount!

J’ai lu un tas de réticences sur ce capteur de qualité d’air, de température et humidité. Au final, rien de tout cela, le capteur est très fonctionnel. Au démarrage, il suffit de le brancher sur sa prise USB fournie (juste à utiliser le bloc chargeur de l’iPhone) pour complètement charger ma batterie. Depuis l’application Eve, ajouter un dispositif et scanner le code barre dans la boîte, le tour est joué. C’est tout! (Même si la batterie n’est pas complètement chargée) Immédiatement la qualité de l’air est captée ainsi que température et humidité et l’écran affiche de façon satisfaisante ces informations) Il a fallu environ 30mn pour « étalonner » et avoir une mesure fiable. (Identique à d’autres capteurs que je possède mais eux non connectés) Au final, un joli capteur efficace à poser (il ne s’aimante pas) . ( pour l’exemple, je me suis parfumé assez proche du capteur, il est passé en moins de 1mn en qualité d’air dégradé) Si je pouvais proposer une optimisation, ce serait de pouvoir créer des automatisations comme par exemple envoyer un sms en cas de données anormales comme il est possible de faire via l’application raccourci de iPhone. Très bon produit de qualité avec un excellent service client à qui j’ai eu à faire il y a plusieurs mois pour une aide à l’utilisation d’un de leurs produits.

Me encanta superbién funciona genial ningún problema te mantiene una estadística no requiere suscripción ni nada hay muchas competencias que son más baratos pero pues tienes que pagar mensualmente para ver la estadística y aquí no superbién bien

Użytkując ten czujnik można czuć się we własnym domu bezpieczniej. Jest wykonany estetycznie i ma czytelny ekran. Wadą jest możliwość zdalnego odczytu tylko z jednego urządzenia mobilnego. Nie łączy się z drugim telefonem komórkowym, traktując go jako nowy dom. Tym samym ogranicza liczbę zdalnych użytkowników do jednej osoby.

Bonne app, températures fiables mais quelques soucis lors de la charge ( l’état de la batterie ne se met pas toujours à jour )

Med denna utmärkta Eve kan vi hålla koll på temperatur, luftfuktighet mm i sommarstugan 60 mil bort. Uppladdningsbar, kan hålla batteri några månader innan den behöver laddas några timmar. Vi använder vår AppleTV som hub till vår router/ bredband. Funkar finfint.
