I periodically require the use of this formula for SIBO and for food allergies. Being elemental it tastes terrible but it works so well. i have used both the powder and the RTF and find the RTF much better to tolerate and of course easier to use. Usually the RTF is prohibitively expensive but this was less expensive than the powder. Very happy with this purchase.

Very pricey for the amount of liquid that you're buying. The ingredients are decent and there seems to be a minimal amount of additives. The taste isn't good but it is tolerable.

I'm sure this product is great for tube feeding, and the seller sent the product earlier than its anticipated delivery, so this review doesn't question the quality of the product or seller. However, I know some of us are ordering this for oral consumption due to GI problems. If that's you, please keep reading. Others' descriptions of how bad this tastes don't do it justice. I figured it might be chalky disgusting, but it's very, very bitter. It's so bitter that you can't hold your nose when drinking it to reduce the offensive taste; you'll taste the whole awfulness anyway. I did manage to get it down, but a couple of hours later, I threw it up--and it lit my sinuses on fire. Granted, vomiting usually results in painful stomach acid in my sinuses, but whatever's in this drink made it an absolutely excruciating experience that lasted for quite some time. If there's any chance you might throw up, my advice is to not try this product.

Horrible, horrible taste. Nothing masks it. Adding stevia and cinnamon only makes it worse. You get used to it--as is--after about a week. I never felt hungry. Could only handle 3 -4 per day. Typically didn't need PPI meds the whole day, so I'm assuming that it allowed my body to "rest," which was positive. The liquid is easy. I just always kept 3 - 4 containers in the fridge, ready to use. I did feel better after the two weeks, and now know what to expect if I have to do it again. Lost 10 lbs. the 1st week, and then none thereafter. Not undertaken for weight loss, but it was a nice benefit for having endured the trial. . .

Tastes nasty but that's what it is, elemental.
