This is my first time buying a trimmer. I was not sure what to expect but was tired of shaving it all down there, I always afraid of being cut and the post shave itching was unbearable. THIS IS THE BEST!! It’s much safer because it trims your sensitive area, not rough on the skin like a razor. I never knew how to properly maintain things down there but after doing some research, I found that trimmers were the most recommended. This one is perfect. For starters I used the largest guard, and then immediately went down another and another. I never got cut, it was super safe and easy to use- even in the areas you can’t really see. I highly recommend this trimmer, it is 100% beginner friendly. I did not use it in the shower, but it is marketed as waterproof. It was super quick to use on the whole area down there, as compared to a traditional razor shave in the shower having to lift a leg and all that lol. The razor end cuts close, I tested it on my bikini line. I thought it had some lather but it really doesn’t. You do need some shaving cream when using the razor end. What drew me to this product besides the wonderful reviews and the simplicity of a trimmer, was that the razor ingredients were not harmful. I am very careful with the products I use, especially in private sensitive area. The Schick Hydro Silk pubic refills are rated 93/100 on Yuka- amazing! New HOLY GRAIL product. I can keep it all neat down there, not worry about razor burn or itchiness, and it’s incredibly effective while easy to use. I did wish it came in a travel pouch or case of some sort but I keep it in the clear zip bag it came in for storage
