These are very fine laces that actually fit through the holes on my Naots! They are waxed which is ok, but I would have been fine without waxed as well

I’ve never had lace like this break, but I have a pair of shoes that I’ve worn so much. The laces broke, which is inevitable. This was a little more challenging for me than regular shoelaces, so I had to rely on the description and the images for length and color. The material also had to match and it really does. These look great, the light brown shoes I have now have either a lighter color lace as well as darker. So these are more than perfect because the variety is incredible. I really didn’t expect this, it’s the right material. I didn’t know that it was a waxed cotton shoelace that I was looking for. More than perfect because I have more than one color now and that’s great, I have color choices! Highly recommended!

These shoe laces were the ideal replacement for the original ones, which over time had become worn & frayed! The color, quality & length were perfect & they easily stayed tied! Adding the new laces to my sandals was super fast & simple! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Good string laces. As expected

Wanted to play around a bit with some Allen Edmonds Strandmoks - blue shoes shipped with blue laces, giving a bit of a clown shoe effect. I'll talk about what worked and what didn't. Overall I'd buy again. First, a word on colors. I took photos of the laces sitting on my laptop screen, literally on the Amazon pages I ordered from. The "walnut" is probably closest to what my screen showed - a pale medium-light brown, not the rich deep woody tone depicted. "Tan" was nothing like tan - it was a light yellowish taupe, at least 8 shades lighter than the photo, verging on lemon. "Charcoal grey" is a nice idea; the slate blue laces I was shipped, sealed in a little bag labeled "charcoal grey," isn't even from the same color universe, and I would assume they'd shipped the wrong pair except that the color I got doesn't appear to be a color Benchmark even advertises as available. Now the good news: I was trying, with the tan and walnut, to match the natural welt and/or edge of the Strandmok's sole, and the walnut was actually, fortuitously, a perfect match, shoes look great. Strandmoks ship with 2.5mm waxed cotton laces, high quality but will feather a bit with use. These Benchmark laces are 2mm waxed cotton - Benchmark doesn't offer a 2.5mm cotton pair, their 2.5mm is polyester, which I didn't want. They don't look quite as rich as the Allen Edmonds originals but are at least as strong, have a quality aglet and feather about the same as the originals. I'll update this review in the event of premature breakage, but honestly given the way these laces feel I don't anticipate it. Good luck with your lace experiments!
