NOT a long-term solution
They work fine for a time, but as humidity comes & goes in the room, these will start falling off the walls within a few weeks, and within a few months they will loose all suction to be re-installed at all. Good for getting a feel for where you want to permanently install a better solution.

Temporary towel hooks still holding strong!
We are remodeling our bathrooms and I was not sure where I wanted to place our towel hooks. Instead of rushing to a solution, these towel hooks have been perfect to test out the placement. We have kept them for over 2 months now and figure we will just use them until they fail. It is important to read the instructions (a clean surface is critical) and the cover plate can come off but it is not a big deal. When the cover plate came off it made it easier for us to completely secure the suction cup and then slide the cover plate back on. As far as durability - that are still standing after 2 months in a teenager's bathroom, so that speaks volumes. We also bought the towel rack and were not as happy, but these towel hooks are great for people who aren't ready to make a commitment with where they want to place their towel!

Not as advertised. No succion cup
Not at all what is advertised. These are screwed and not with succion cup. Will be returning as they are for a tiled area.
