Well detailed instructions.....but it helps to have a professional team to put together! Says 1 hour to put together...well, I have about 5 involved and still not completed!

Really nice table

I recently moved and was looking for a cheap, temporary, yet functional coffee table for my sectional, and came across this. This fit the bill perfectly until I find something more permanent.Assembly should take you about an hour and the installation instructions almost make it too easy. If you’re using their supplied wrench, be careful not to over tighten the lock nuts for the gas struts as it will stretch the cheap wrench (meant to be thrown away after assembly). Other than that you will only need a screwdriver but a drill is ideal.Some of the poor reviews that came in with included photos definitely showed that they had assembled it wrong. Another showed misalignment of the table top which likely indicated self-inflicted misalignment of the tops and screw holes when securing the lifters, not a bent lifter assembly. Other complain about legs collapsing and I can bet they not only assembled it wrong, but also overtightened everything they could get their hands on.FYI, the plastic corner guards on the top sections are for shipping protection, not to be used once assembled.For the price, all gaps, reveals, squareness and everything else are surprisingly perfect and even though I had intended this to be a cheap temporary coffee table, I’ll likely use it longer than intended based on the functionality alone.The only thing I would have liked to see is solid color options (black, gray, white, navy, etc) and a thicker bottom to the storage compartment, but beggars can’t be choosers at this price.

The rest of the table's assembly was easy and self-explanatory, but good GRIEF. Make sure you have a second person and a drill to get those doors on. It took me several tries, a couple hours, just for the doors, and I was absolutely exhausted afterward. I am a single mom, and It was difficult to get someone to come over just to hold them in place so I could screw them in. Not to mention, the positions you have to be in, it's difficult to get a light in there so you can see what you're doing. I did a lot of that by feel alone. It was a rather hair-pulling event. Now that it's together, it's a great table, and we use the storage every day. It's super easy to keep clean and very sturdy.

The table is 100% functional and sturdy. Why in the world would they put a paper sticker on the front of the piece of furniture that states “pinch point”. I understand why it has to be there originally, but make it a sticker that is easily removable…..not something that has to be scrubbed off with several different cleaners

They way it opens is the opposite, maybe that could be switched by the base. Not easy to put together on your own.

My only complaint is the legs are a bit flimsy. Other than that it’s an awesome table. It hides all my junk and I use the lift top every day!

unless you have child sized arms and hands , building this bloody table was the definition of hell. whoever designed the way to put this together clearly never attempted it themselves. Not only that but the screws aren’t long enough so it’s possible to get them tight, one of the pieces to pull the table up doesn’t stay locked down so it’s always sticking up.After 3 hours of building the table is u even and doesn’t stay shut.AVOID THIS TABLE.

Don't be fooled, this coffee table is not grey. Putting this together was not an easy task. And then once placed beside my grey media console you can clearly see that they are not the same color family. Now that I'd like to return it, the seller has not made the process easy.I highly recommend you consider this feedback before buying b/c you may be forced to keep it.Amazon, you really need to check this seller. I'm very disappointed in the service you are providing given this product's false description and seller's unsatisfactory return process.Consider yourself warned!

I have never had such a difficult time putting a piece of furniture together in life. Attaching the lids to the body via the brackets was near impossible!!

For use in my living room ....the holes for screwing the tops to the table were not lined up right and I had to make my own and judge it accordingly and now the tops of the table are harder to open and close.
