Good quality hoe, feels good in your hand
Comes in a nice quality box (could be given as a gift, if you think a hoe's a good gift!) and is itself a quality hoe, price is about right for what you get. I am a larger woman with broad hands, the grip of the hoe is just right. The handle is initially a smooth wood however if it ends up getting a bit of wear/wet/sun-exposed the wood does crack a bit with time making it rougher, and a good hour using this hoe and I had blisters in really unusual places, like the side of my fingertip. Its inner edge is very sharp, keep your other hand well away from the hoe's working area or you might really get hurt. It has stayed pretty sharp despite the hoe being used pretty thoroughly for hours. It's light in your hand but so far sturdy, my hoe isn't bent despite a lot of pressure from all directions. Be careful what you use your hoe on though- it's great for surface plants and those with spindly roots, but things like dandylions all you do is seperate the root bulk from its greenery and it regrows. I was suprised to find buttercup plants also recurring when I had been sure I'd gotten the hoe far enough under them they wouldn't be coming again.
