Does its job. Better than the plastic ones

I bought it in June 2023, and it stopped working today. I only used it once a day on workdays. Rust started forming after the stainless steel ring on the beginning of the green base.

I have only used this so far for boiled eggs. I cook hard boiled eggs for my husband and I love soft boiled eggs. Both were cooked perfectly, I'm impressed. I will try the poached eggs next time although not too worried about those. It looks nice on the work top and I intend to take it away in our campervan, boiled eggs for breakfast done the easy way. There are a couple of small dents on the lid but I'm keeping it, it's not worth sending it back for that. I can fully recommend this egg boiler, no plastic, easy to clean, easy to use, perfect boiled eggs, that's all I wanted.

I bought this after having a conversation with a friend who mentioned they had one. I didn't buy the same model as they have. I spent ages looking at different options and reading reviews. Many of the others look similar to each other but by different brands, whereas this one is a unique design and colour. It's quite simple to use and instructions are clear. I did chuckle at one review complaining about a sharp spike sticking out of the cup (it's not a fault, it's for puncturing the egg shell lol). The electric cable and plug look safe. This one looks very nice and not out of place with any decor, it also fits away into the cupboard easily. My first attempt turned out two perfect soft yolk eggs. I think I made the right choice.

The reason that I decided to buy this egg boiler steamer is it is made of stainless steel.It dose what it support to do and works well. The green colour is contemporary and decorative, really to my taste. It is heavier than the plastic one I had before, and this made cleaning a bit more difficult as you generally have to lift and hold the cooker base with one hand and try not let water wet the wire attached. Also there is no instruction came with it , I suppose it is assumed that every one should know what it is for and how to use it.

The product failed to work after 2-3 times of me switching it on and off. The main switch to turn the product on, is now not lighting up at all. I feel the product is very low quality and not reliable. I have not been able to complete a single cooking session with this device. Update: I have now thrown this device to the garbage. Completely failed out from the box after a few tries of trying to get it to work. It initially switched on, then totally died. Buy at your own risk.
