My Eyes Got an Upgrade
These binoculars turned my Alaska trip into a front-row wildlife documentary. I spotted eagles like they were auditioning for a close-up, watched whales without squinting, and even saw a bear from a safe distance (emphasis on safe). They’re lightweight enough to hang around my neck without feeling like I’m training for the Olympics, and durable enough to survive being jostled around on a bumpy boat ride. The views? Crystal clear. Honestly, I think I could see Russia if Sarah Palin lent me her deck. If you’re traveling to Alaska (or anywhere wild), these binoculars are a must—because some sights are just too epic to leave blurry.

Nice quality image n build for the price (10x42)
Very nice pair of Porro binoculars the give excellent image quality and feel extremely well built with a nice solid weighty feel in the hand . Bushnell always offer value for money and I think these are one of their better models if your looking for great image quality at a decent price . The only downside I can find is the very very loose fitting objective lens caps that fall off at ever opportunity . That's easily cured by buying a pair of rubber caps on here in size 53.8 -55.8mm for a tenner . The rain guard is fine so that won't need exchanging but if your ordering the binoculars I'd certainly order objective caps at the same time as the originals really are that loose their unusable . But to sum up I'd say for the price you'll not find a better pair of bins than these and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a workhorse pair on binoculars that feel like they'll last a lifetime .

Mostly 5 star
I purchased these for an Alaskan cruise and was generally quite pleased with them. They were a little heavier than I had anticipated, but the optics were clear and I was able to spot quite a bit of wildlife with them. Yes, you can get less expensive binoculars, but honestly, these will last for years to come. Never had issues focusing and they worked well for me when I removed my glasses. If I had one negative to say, it is about the lens caps. They don't fit tight and are easily bumped off. Thankfully, we just used these on our balcony, but if I was taking them out sightseeing or hiking, I would be worried that the lens caps would easily go missing.
