This adapter is the best thing when you can't reach the bottom of the tank to install a Bidet T-adapter.. The bottom connection on my toilet was hard to reach so I purchased this add a T-Valve by YUHX and I attached it to the water inlet., connected the water inlet to the tank, installed the 1/2 inch fitting (which came with it) and connected the Bidet... Took about 5 minutes to do the job.. For anyone wanting to add a Bidet this is the answer.. You don't have to add silicon tape or anything on the compression fittings.. Worked like a dream and I would highly recommend to anyone doing a DIY installation for any plumbing add ons. Home Depot carries a similar item , that's about the same in price, but it doesn't come with the 1/2 inch fitting., so this YUHX is the only way to go... I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely buy again for any more plumbing jobs of this nature..

bought one as I originally had planned out needing just one to pass a water line for my fridge and eventually coffee machine.installing it was a breeze and no leaks thus far. the compression fitting work very well with polyurethane tubing. valve is easy to turn top open/close the flow of water.I didn't end up using the 3/8 insert as it prevented me from inserting it into the compression section of the valve. I did end up using it somewhere else though, so it worked out.anyways, after i started thinking about the design of how I was going to be passing the tube, I figured it would be better to pass a separate tube for each application rather than tee off midway through, so I bought a second one.I recommend this as it comes with useful parts.

I liked the fact that it was easy to setup for the water dispenser and went with plastic line perfect. I put a five year filter in water line to slow down the cost of the cost of filter replacements in fridge. you can buy this product with no problems. Its just a matter of patience, when installing.

I had a skirted toilet and my original TOTO bidet adapter didn't work. This was perfect and had a transition plug to TOTO. Worked perfectly. Parts feel great quality.
