Wen 56310iC Universal Weatherproof Inverter Generator Cover, Large

This cover is a perfect fit for my Wen DG4500iX. I was initially concerned about the fit, considering my generator has the folding handles and wheels. While the cover does not stretch, I had no issue installing it over the entire unit. It fits securely and snug, not too tight, just below the bottom of the frame. Didn't have to pull the drawstring achieve the snug fit and it doesn't push up against any of the faces of the generator itself. I opted to leave the wheels exposed since I am mostly concerned about protecting the control panel, battery area, and exhaust housing. Fitting over the wheels may take a little effort and full release of the draw string. The material is sturdy and just the right thickness to ensure great protection but still easy to install and remove. Folds cleanly and neatly when not in use. Overall a great value. Met my needs for protecting my generator when stored in my garage.

This universal generator cover does its job really well. Under very heavy use — meaning the generator rides on an RV and racks up tens of thousands of miles a year with airflow beating on it from every direction — the cover lasts about a year, which is honestly expected with that kind of abuse. But if you’re not an ultra-active traveler doing around 100,000 miles a year, this cover will last you much longer. For normal RV use, it should give you years of protection. Solid cover, fits well, and does what it’s supposed to.

This was listed as being compatible with my WEN inverter generator, but it's just a bit too big. But that's fine, because then it's not a struggle to get it on. The opening (which goes down to the base of the inverter) has an elastic band around it to keep the cover snug, and a drawstring to tighten it, if needed. It will definitely keep dust, dirt, and grime off the inverter while it's in storage. Note that this must NOT be put over the inverter while it's running. This fits the WEN 4800 watt inverter generator. The fit is good and keeps the generator looking nicer longer when it is not being used. I usally keep the generator in my garage when I get to the camp ground so I can not tell you how well the cover holds up to the elements. I also can't tell you how well it holds up at this time as it's still new.

I figured the cover would be a little snug to put on but it was very easy, no chore at all , and the drawstring at the bottom was just as easy to cinch to get the snug fit I desired . I'm not usually one to bling out my things but am more concerned about quality and value but the color and ginormous logo enhance my new inverter/generator nicely . It's padded just enough , not too puffy and not too thin and the cover itself is grippy enough where I can pick up the whole thing with cover on and then take it off once it's on the wagon I use to move it around . I use my generator to power my electric cultivar or electric blower because it's easier to move around a 20' cord than a100' 10awg one . I have 2 gardens on opposite sides of my yard . Anyway , I got this cover because of its extremely low price instead of just using a tarp and am not disappointed at all. I can't speak for it fitting any other brand or model but it fits mine like it was made for the next biggest size up (4500) but I'm kinda glad it is a little baggy so I can grab and move they unit with the cover on in case if killa has made a nest inside I can uncover it in a place where I can run away faster .

This is for Canadian buyers of the Home Hardware Benchmark 4500 inverter generator. HH didn’t have a cover for that model and this Wen cover fit exact. You won’t be disappointed. 5 stars.
