Originally from Ecuador, Irlanda came to L.A. with her mother and sisters seeking new opportunities. In time, Irlanda became a busy working mom with a dream to sell her tortilla chips and mother’s salsa. She started her unique cooking method of frying tortillas in rice bran oil right from her kitchen. This is because Irlanda was committed to providing wholesome snacks that her family also enjoy. But more important than selling chips and salsa was creating an opportunity that would bring her entire family together. She enlisted her husband, Ray, and her sisters (The Chicas) to help her. Overcoming a series of hardships while establishing Chicas, three traits helped them through it: faith, hard work and a good sense of humor! Seven years later, Irlanda, her daughters Sarah and Nastassia and her husband Ray continue the tradition of making extraordinary chips and salsa that people simply can’t stop eating—our bodies and our hearts know when we are eating food made with love. The hint of lime flavor are just that it has a light lime flavor that doesnt overpower the taste of the chip. The only problem with these chips are that they are readily available in my area and are almost always out of stock. Review: Addicting - These chips are addicting. They are delicious with salsa, guacamole, or any dip of your choosing but they are also delicious alone! These chips are seasoned with just the right amount of lime flavor and are not oily! I highly recommend these chips! I bet you get addicted!

Perfect bagged tortilla chip
These are easily the best bagged tortilla chips ive ever had. The oil, crunch and the air pockets are just perfect. Addicting
These chips are addicting. They are delicious with salsa, guacamole, or any dip of your choosing but they are also delicious alone! These chips are seasoned with just the right amount of lime flavor and are not oily! I highly recommend these chips! I bet you get addicted!

something is wrong with the flavor
from the first bite i was disappointed. I had bought these chips originally from Costco and thought they were going to replace my Tostitos lime flavored chips... Well that will not happen with the chips i received from this supplier... something is wrong with these chips... it may even be poisonous. I'm not sure but the smell, texture, and taste are off. And it's worried me. I will not eat the rest of the bags I've ordered, and I will just throw them away... DONT buy these chips... something is wrong with them, and its not just the taste.

Great taste
These are my favorite chips but this bag is small and they only allow you to purchase 4 bags. Not sure if only allow 4 bags a month or what. I really like the texture and crunch. I bought these from Cosco once and they had a lot of lime salt on them and it was wonderful. These don't have as much lime salt unfortunately, but still good. These chips are so addictive I ate the whole bag. Wish I knew where else they are sold to get a big bag.

Amazing Chips, But Horrible Quality Control
Torn on this review. On the one hand, these are by far my favorite commercial tortilla chips. Delicious chips, perfect crisp level, and actual lime that doesn't stick to your hand the way so many fake lime "flavored" chips do. Unfortunately, the quality control is just atrocious. I ordered 10 bags recently, and five were completely torn open down the seam of the bag, resulting in crushed chips ending up all over the shipping boxes. If you have these available in the Amazon/Whole Foods grocery delivery, do that. But do not buy them via Amazon shipping, as the warehouse just doesn't QC properly.

Great chips, badly delivered.
Chips were delicious but were so broken up that most of the bag was broken into tiny pieces that we used in salads.

Favorite chips. The seasoning is spot on. I eat them plain that’s how good they are.
