What’s the difference between this model vs the TM52Dz model (blue)?

Not really sure. I looked for the blue brushless one but couldn’t find it. I love this one though. The star lock system is very convenient but blades are harder to buy. I special ordered mine with Amazon!!!

Why is this one black, is there a difference between this and the standard blue one with the starlock?

You may be referencing the tm52dz, which is the equivalent model for outside of the US and has Makita blue in addition to black. In the US, this model is black because it is part of their compact line.

Can it use the old style Fein blades?

No. Starlock only. But the Starlock cuts so much better. My guess is that the more rigid Starlock blades cut so much better, even though they both have the same teeth configuration.

i have a lot of no starlock blade to cut from makita old version at home what is adapter for use no starlock blade ?

The new Makita XMT04ZB only accepts the three different StarLock blades and accessories. The older type blades will not work with this new model.
