That was the first time I tried to accomplish a project like that all by myself. The reviews from previous buyers helped a lot. Most people recommend painting the tiles; however, I left them unpainted, and it still looks good. If you enlarge the photos, you will see the imperfections- the tiles are not alined to each other perfectly, but it is not obvious, unless you want to find a flaw. I used liquid nails to attach the tiles and had to buy a special tool to cut the panels. That was an adventure, but I am happy with the outcome.

This wound up being a lot of work for me but sooooo worth it! I did not want to use an adhesive because I didn’t want to ruin my walls underneath and I wanted the option to rip it all down if I didn’t like it or grew tired of the look. So I went with industrial strength double sided tape. I painted all the tiles first then hung them up. I used wood putty to fill in the gaps, sanded and painted again. I would definitely recommend.

The panels are great and my wall looks amazing. It’s not super easy to install and my only complaint with the vendor is that it would be perfect if the panels came with the adhesive, even if cost more. The one that Amazon suggest its wall paper glue and that doesn’t work. I did use Gorilla Glue Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive. That glue works perfectly and makes the Kobe easier.

So when I ordered I dient read the description. I thought it was made of a hard plastic material but its made of plant fiber which is basically similar to heavy duty cardboard, very thick and not flimsy. I definitely would not use in a bathrm with a shower as im sure over time it was slowly damage. We used this to close out our firplace wall ( not done yet) but it realy did give our living room the pop that it needed.
