I bought a few books/journals when I found out I was pregnant bc I was unsure which one would be my favorite, and this one was :). This one has more of a journal feel vs a scrapbook feel and is most comfortable to write in. There is also plenty of "recap" pages after every few weeks so if there is an event that the book automatically left out (gender reveal for example), then you can add in details about that reveal date/guests in the extra recap pages section. I also appreciate the additional sections for weight/symptom changes. I think it will help keep my timeline of feelings and changes more "real". I would def recommend to any journaling or ATYPE friends :). This was also one of the less expensive items that I bought and still very pretty looking.

This is exactly what I was looking for!! I bought another, more expensive memory book but it mostly included some "firsts" and years 1-5. I really wanted a book that dedicated a page to each month of my baby's first year and I'm so glad I found this one (and the price is awesome!!!)!! Some people have mentioned it's plain because of the pages being only in gray but I disagree. Yes, it doesnt have color on the pages, but it does have cute designs on all the pages. Plus, the pictures and info you write in it are supposed to be the focus, not colorful designs on the page. Also, for the price, I think black/white/gray pages are more than acceptable. I love the questions/prompts it gives: memorable moments, height/weight, first haircut, crawling, favorite items, looking back on the year, etc. The only regret I have is not purchasing this sooner so I could have recorded every month as it happened!! I'm going to buy this for future mom friends as gifts!

It is exactly what I was looking for as it's a present for a coworker. Great size, not too bulky and has just enough questions and photo opportunities. Cute and exactly what I wanted!
