Does this product have any additional fragrance or menthol?

No, it has additional ingredients but no menthol, the fragrance is tea tree. I love this product!

Is this good for dry skin and for acne scars ?

I have pretty bad acne scars (I was on Accutane 5 times...) and haven't had any issues with this face wash. I find that it helps with redness on my face.

is this an exfoliating face wash?

To answer your question, there is no beads or granules in this product to exfoliate the skin. To get the exfoliating use, I change from using a wash cloth to using using Mia Clarisonic face brush (this is a bit expensive, but there are cheaper brushes out there) or you could use the disposable face scrub clothes. I find with this product I do not need to exfoliate as much. This is the best face wash I have used in a long time minus the scent. I am not a big fan of that. If you have ever used Dr. Brohner's bar soap for your legs/ arms, it gets your face that kind of clean.
