Great product. New to using but the was taken at 100 feet. Dark dive but was able to get some very nice photos

I would give it a zero if I could. purchased this for a trip. The first time I got in the water, it filled up with water and would not shut off. Reached out to Amazon, they would not do anything since it was more than 30 days, reached out to the vendor, and each email got returned as not a valid email address. The light corroded and will not work at all. Save your money

UPDATE 8/17/24: Seller contacted me (in response to my review); they promptly sent me a new unit to replace the failed one. As I’ve not yet been diving since receiving the replacement unit, I cannot comment on its longevity. However, I am upgrading from 1 to 3 stars based (solely) upon the seller’s proactive response. Used product with GoPro camera on scuba trip to Belize. Light worked fine for one day (two dives). On the second day, it stopped working 10 minutes into my first dive. Later that day, while the camera was on the boat (out of the water, and dry), the lowest of the three LEDs began strobing. The camera could not be turned off. Removing, then reinserting the batteries did not resolve the issue. Ultimately, the strobing depleted the batteries. Upon returning to shore, it would not turn on; neither would it charge. Email to vendor (using link provided by Amazon) produced NO response at all. This is a SINGLE-USE item. Look elsewhere for a well-made product, and/or for a vendor that stands, even marginally, behind its products.

I was looking for a small light I can mount to my gopro, because many others were very bulky. The case of the light is very strong, as it is made of metal, and there are plenty of light modes. The lights are very bright, and wide, so it has a lot of coverage. The t bracket seems cheap, and isn't perfectly straight, but it works perfectly for my custom camera tray. It is also powered by two gopro branded batteries which I though was great.

I ordered this to use on my dive holiday. I have a new GoPro and wanted to really great footage so I needed a light. The reviews seems good for this item and it was perfect size for me. I tested it out as soon as I received it and charged it up. Seemed perfect! I was on my first dive of vacation and turned it on underwater. It was great! We only went down to 40 feet, and this light is supposed to be rated to 164 feet. As I surfaced, I tried to turn it off. It would not switch modes or turn off. There was no water leaking into the housing, but it would not turn off. I had to just let the batteries die. Once back to my room I tried to recharge the batteries, and nothing happened. So I got 1 dive out of this light and now it’s just an expensive paper weight.

Uses the older GoPro Hero batteries. Has a solid seal and looks to be able to take submergence to the rated depth. Plenty of bright white light, too - of you fon't use it for a camera, you can fix it to your helmet as a miner's light!

We have this attached to a extender stick and it gets you the right amount of light during scuba trips. The battery is really good and lasts for several days. This is not for night dives, just for day time trips.

Light is very bright and great set up for diving.

I had concerns when buying this wondering if it is water tight for diving. I took mine on about 30 dives so far I went to 45meters it has not leaked water at all. The buttons work at depth and it is bright with different setings. it works well and is a less bulky alternative for something like a GoPro. it is a better solution for taking close up pictures in coral because it is much less bulky allowing the camera and light to be closer. the negative is you have to open the battery compartment to charge it. I took a month off diving and when I went to charge it I found some corrosion in the. attire compartment. it is from charging between dives and salt water getting Into the battery area. you have to open the back to charge it. the corrosion ceased out easily and I have been careful to dry before charging and no more issues. the product is all metal and feels well made. the battery door is clear plastic with a single o-ring. I had my reservations about it but it hasn't leaked yet. the light uses 2 gopro batteries to operate if it wee to leak just swap batteries and you will be fine.

I bought this to mount with my Gopro for a diving trip. The light worked great on my first dive and then wouldn't switch off!! Consequently, it was beginning to over heat, so I had to remove the batteries. I left it to cool down, hoping it would be ok but when I put the batteries back in, the light immediately came back on and the button would not dim or turn the light off!! Hugely disappointed with this product
