I bought this for the purpose of using on knives. I prefer it over synthetic oils primarliy because I sometimes use the knives on food. Pretty cheap and works great. Easy to use- just a simple wipe down on a knife of any type of steel and if you are storing for long term, you can leave a thin layer of film by wiping down with oiled fingers. The oil is clear and has no odor. the package came without any leaks and looked fine but the oil has a tendency to be able to get out of the container with repeated. Compatible for other uses too but this is what I needed it for.

This is a very good food grade mineral oil for sharpening knives.

I use my cutting boards daily, and clean both sides with the wood oil weekly. I live in a very dry environment so this has really extended the life of my cutting boards. I don't use soap on them, and let them air dry in the dishwasher so it stays a bit humid, and then at the end of the week do a mineral oil coating. This has been my favorite brand so far, and my boards still look great.

I bought this oil to apply to my sea shells. I saw this trick online and wanted to test out. I used an old clean makeup brush to apply on my clean and dry shells and rocks in a thin layer and let it set overnight. No cloth, no rubbing. It kept all shell colors as vibrant as when initially applied. Easy to use oil, good value too. A little goes a longlong way. No scent.

I use this food grade mineral oil on my bamboo cutting boards after washing and air drying. Keep boards refreshed, no smells or stickiness. Made in the USA is a bonus for me since I value purity and oil integrity.

Great product. Had two washed out cutting boards and brought them back to life and will resist cracking and also easier cleaning.

It's a bit messy to use but seems to work fine. I've only given my boards one treatment and the wood soaked up the oil right away. It seems fine and I have no complaints.
