i have a size 53 cm head. is my head too small?

Should be fine I'm 52 cm and it fits well it's also adjustable

The 2-pack i does not give a size range but it does show that they have double adjustment straps, do these adjust up to 24"/61cm?

just checked my hat. it looks like you can loosen the strap on each side by about half an inch I didn't have to adjust mine and my hat size is large 7and 3/4

How do you wash this hat?

They are made of jean material. There are washing rings that you can insert into your hat to maintain the shape and use. Truthfully, I just wash them and hope they maintain the shape. If they do, back on the head. If not, into the bin.
