Yes, mine did. The glue is the little square rectangle. It is called "E-Jiao". It is a small block that you moisten with water on your finger tip until a gel film starts to form. Then you apply it to the dimo hole and put the membrane over it.

What does the text on the flute say?

The text is just decoration purposes. And the letter D or C or F is about the key of the dizi.

When it says "in C key", is that the lowest note?

No. When close all that is G4. So C means G. For Dizi, F means C5.
