I get so immersed in these books, I find them hard to put down. Each book has a villian, but everything always ends in happiness for the shop girls

Once again the 3rd book in this series is totally outstanding jim and lily have a bit if adventure the slimmy robert up to no good, beryl doing her best with young bobby and les truly fabulous books can't wait to read there next adventure.

As is to be expected of this writer, the meticulous research is worn lightly, but the authentic detail brings the world of Lily and the staff at Marlow's department store vividly to life. I loved the fact too that there's a hint of romance at last for dependable Dora, the matriarch of the family, but 'boiling up cow heels' is still top of her list!

I eagerly awaited the third book in the Shop Girl series and wasn’t disappointed, it was as equally captivating as the first two. Lily and her friends and family were brought vividly to life and the plot raced along. I now have to wait for book four! I hope there are even more in the series, can’t wait.
