I like how it fits in the stock trim on my 2004 Subaru Outback without needing any trimming to make it fit. I always seem to be happy with BOSS stereos in all my cars. I've tried Sony and a few other brands but never had such a good experience as I do with BOSS systems. The only weird thing I've noticed is it will randomly turn its own volume up as if I was to spin the knob, but it's very rare and only goes up slightly. It doesn't happen often enough to really care about it, on like a 2hr car drive it'll happen maybe once or twice.

A few things that I've noticed over the year since I installed this radio. When backing up and the rear camera is displayed, there is no control over the audio playing. This means the radio cannot be turned down or the podcast cannot be paused etc. None of the controls work while the display is showing video from the backup camera. I've noticed often when I step in the brake the display will go black for a second and come back on. Also the volume will often decrease when stepping on the brake. I don't understand why this is happening because there is no connection to the brake. The touch screen is not very sensitive. I've had to press moderately hard to make selections. The micro sd memory card port is countersunk to the point once the card is ejected I have to use a needle nose pliers to pull out the card. On the positive side: I like the sound quality. It is adjustable with the incorporated mixer. The volume also doesn't seem to distort and it will play loud enough for my needs. The micro SD port and USB port have been useful in checking my trail camera pictures. Installation was pretty simple. Wiring descriptions were clear. Microphone was surprisingly good for phone conversations. This radio does include an AM band which other radios did not.

Bright display with a good combination of useful car stereo features making great value for the price. Bluetooth phone access, rear/front view camera support and digital multimedia entertainment are perhaps the most convenient features for modern-day driving. Autolink via USB cable appears to be useful but a bit cumbersome to setup and use; it may have been easier via a wireless connection. Documentation/user manual is too tech-brief and could have been improved with more detailed how-to-do instructions and explanations. Recently the manual volume control became erratic with sudden high volume and now doesn't work. Volume control is only available via the remote. As a result, my initial ratings is downgraded to 3 stars. I hope the seller or manufacturer can help to resolve the volume control problem.

It doesn't tie into GPS, and show a map, it doesn't read your text messages, and we can't get the ap to work correctly because it has to be wired into our Parking brake. We mostly just use it as a speaker by having it to plug into our phones. Bluetooth doesn't work. The clock is microscopic, which in my opinion should be the easiest thing to find on there. Search the fractures first and make sure it has everything you want, I thought it would have more. There is no way to play videos on it.

Purchased in sept, but did not install until June the next year. Kept indoors in safe environment until installed. Quality of sound is terrible. Installed high end speakers, sub and amp but it did not help. The factory radio sounded better than this does. After about 5 months of use the radio started to turn up and down randomly. Now after about 7 months it just suddenly shut off and will not turn back on. Hooked up another stereo to existing wiring system and it plays perfect. This stereo is so light weight with cheap parts....you get what you pay for, though this one is not even worth the low budget cost.
