Excited over a metal bracket? You bet!
This has to be one of my most satisfying Amazon purchases and i know its seems hard to get excited about a metal bracket, but this product simply is the best! Its simplicity coupled with quality craftsmanship sets this product and company apart. It’s been a long time since I have gotten this excited about writing a review but I recently purchased this product to mount my Bose Solo 5 sound bar underneath my flat panel on the wall. The box contains mounting instructions, wall bracket, studs with bolts which fasten to back of sound bar, magnetic bubble level, allen wrench and wall mounting screws with drywall anchors. It took me maybe all of 10 minutes to install my Bose sound bar on the wall using this simple bracket. Instructions were clear and concise, maybe the only thing missing a minor detail of drill bill size for drywall anchors but not really that difficult to figure out. Once installed the bracket makes it easy to attach and remove the sound bar to get at the wiring if ever need without the use of any tools. I wish all companies took this much pride in their items and attention to detail.

Awesome product!
Great price for a quality product. Easy to install but instructions do not cover how to install the 2 round sleeves that attach to the back of the speaker which go through the wall bracket in order to hang the speaker so... 1) Find the 2 screw holes in the back of your speaker. 2) Find the 2 little black screws that come with this product. 3) Make sure the screws fit in the holes; if they don't, either return the product or go to your local hardware store and buy 2 screws that fit, same length and type(flat head) (color does not matter because it will be hidden). 4) Find the 2 black round metal sleeves that came with the product. 5) Put screws that came with the product or you bought through the metal sleeves and into the 2 screw holes in the back of the speaker. 6) Once screws tightened, the speaker is ready to be hung on the bracket you install on your wall... follow instructions to install wall bracket 😁

Exact fit
Exact fit. Easy to install. The only issue was the anchors it brings are not recommended, I used my own drywall anchors.

Great product
I can’t understand why anyone would give this anything other than 5 stars. It is so easy to install and holds my soundbar perfectly. I did modify my installation a little. I mounted the soundbar under the TV, so I had 3 HDMI cables that I needed to run behind the soundbar, so I added some spacers between the mount and the wall to run the wires, and I also used different anchors that hold better than those supplied.

Nice, but get some better anchors first!
Very easy to install once you have good drywall anchors. The supplied anchor screws just stripped out the inside of the anchors when trying to tighten them. This kit is definitely worth the money, it looks great (you can't see it behind the soundbar when its mounted) and it seems sturdy. The soundbar slots into the mount smoothly and is easy to remove.

I fell for the "1-inch clearance for bass port spec" line but I'm happy with this mount
I have the great good fortune to still be working in the time of Corona, but my newly-designated work-from-home space needed some sprucing up. I also have the fortune to be able to do some minor upgrades now: a cheap 4k "monitor" (the smallest, cheapest, open-boxed-est Vizio UHD TV Best Buy had) and a factory refurb'd Bose Solo 5. After wall mounting the screen, I initially decided not to mount the Bose because it is so small and there wasn't much usable space to be gained anyway. Then I realized that the very thick cable from my Corsair keyboard had to go around or over top the Bose and this actually interfered with the IR signal from the remote (the remote is absolutely required since this soundbar has no buttons at all). I decided to use this SoundBass mount to raise the soundbar up off the desk by about 3", which was plenty to feed the keyboard cable underneath, and actually has the added benefit that I can slide the keyboard under the soundbar flush to the wall to regain a lot of desk space for non-computer projects like soldering and gluing stuff, etc. In natural fashion, I borked the size of the hole for the drywall anchor and it just pulled right out, so I ended up not using the included hardware, so I can't speak to whether it's good or bad. Instead I employed some small toggle bolts I fortunately had from another project (I have always had much better luck with, and more confidence in, toggle bolts anyway). With some careful measuring of distances, finding the midpoint of the tv, and marking everything out, I was able to get the mount on the wall in just a few minutes. It took a couple of tries to get the Bose seated correctly, but once it slid into place, it seemed to be totally secure. I did have to loosen one screw on the mount to re-level things so it all looked straight. Now, I wouldn't be tugging on the soundbar or putting anything on top of it if I were you, but I don't think it's going anywhere. It helps in this case that there's no need to touch the soundbar since it has no buttons, but I came to realize that Bose went with a straight plug for the AC adapter, which is a dumb considering this bar is meant to be wall-mounted. A 90-degree plug would probably last longer because the cord must bend down at least somewhat once the bar is so close to the wall. The 1" of clearance behind the bar, when mounted, does indeed give the Solo 5 room for the bass port to work, and it all sounds pretty good for a desktop soundbar, which is the application where this speaker seems to garner the best reviews. If it all comes crashing down (the soundbar, not society) I will update this review (while deducting a bunch of stars in the process). There are a lot of mounting options for this speaker on Amazon and "the bay" so don't pay the egregious $24.99 Bose is asking for their hunk of metal.
