Marvelous value
I have been disappointed by many "good" brands of compression socks, but I figured for this price I could try one more. I am so glad I did because these socks are terrific. I am a woman of generous size, from neck to toe, something the good brands seldom take into consideration for anything less than $30 per pair or so. I typically wear size 8.5 or 9 shoe and went with the L/XL. They are so comfortable, reach all the way to the knee, and stay there! No painful bunching at the ankles, thank goodness. The knit is substantial yet soft, no nasty abrasion on the bottoms of my feet. The toe area stays put as well, without squishing my toes, and the seam doesn't irritate. Haven't laundered them yet. If they go south as a result of washing, I will amend this review. Until then, no news is good news! Speaking of which, the washing instructions on the package leave a lot to be desired. There are 4 symbols with explanatory labels: 40 degree wash, do not iron, dry clean only, and do not dry clean. Um, what? No matter, delicate wash and line dry is the way to go, I'm sure.

Great product for less than 1/4 the price of Jobst/Futuro/Dr. Scholl's or the other big name brands
WOW! These compression socks are amazing. I normally pay $15/pair for Jobst/Futuro/Dr. Scholl's brand compression socks...these are very similar and at 1/4 or less the price of name brand! I fully admit I was skeptical that these would live up to their detail information, but wow are they amazing. My calf is 19"+ and my shoe size is a Women's 11/Men's 9 1/2 and Wide Width. I am 5' 10", 290 lbs and these fit really well. Even fit after being washed! I cannot tell you how many pairs of compression socks I have bought trying to get a good deal, only to find I can't even get a big toe into them, or once they are washed they shrink to doll size! These are the real DEAL! The fabric is very good quality, not cheap, flimsy or feels like paper/plastic. Prime shipping is always fast and I had them right away. These are definitely worth giving a try...I think you will be pleasantly surprised and can stop overpaying gouger companies like Jobst, Dr. Scholl's, Futuro, etc. that are ripping off the American public who suffer from medical conditions which require we wear compression socks/stockings to be able to get around. Shame on you Big box rip off companies, preying on American's with disabilities! For shame. This is not the mid to late 1900's when all we had available was the local Brick & Mortar Big box stores or mail order catalogues to order our medically necessary socks/stockings from. I am all for buying American, but NOT when the big named companies take advantage of people with disabilities and overcharge for necessities. Socks/stockings, like underwear, are worn by the large majority of people world wide, on a daily basis, and people with special needs should not be preyed upon.

Lg/XL size fits higher than I expected
I'm a slim 5'8" & my husband a slim 5'11". Both of us were surprised to find that the Large/XL size came up high, on me it came halfway up my knee-cap, bunching in the back of my knee badly. I ordered the larger size so that it wouldn't be too tight and so that we could share the pkg. I wanted to err to the side of being a little too big -- but they were a little bigger than I anticipated! I also found the toe area way too roomy for my ladies size 9M foot. The toe seam was also a little thick. My husband & I find that all compression socks are a little too thin for our shoes, so I decided to cut off the feet and make a footless compression sleeve. I could have just returned them, but they were such a good buy and I liked the way my legs were feeling. I find them very comfy with the feet cut off! Hubby and I are both happy to wear them all day now. We both enjoy being able to wear our usual socks instead of the synthetic foot-portion of the compression socks (a problem we have with all compression socks, not just these). Our shoes fit better wearing our usual socks and our feet feel less sweaty. They are nice and thin on the legs so they don't look bulky, even under leggings. For now, I rolled up the bottom a bit and applied 'Fray Check'. I haven't washed them yet but will hand wash, air dry. ...After just a few days of wearing them all day and removing them at night, I feel I am sleeping better. I have always had poor peripheral circulation and am thrilled to find that I sleep better and wake up better after wearing these during the day. Cheapest, best solution I've found! Maybe the manufacturer should offer a 7 pack of footless compression socks! I would order Small/Medium for both of us next time so they're not so long.

Best Deal Out There On Compression Socks
I ordered the larger size of these socks and they are tight but not too tight (almost), but the function of these socks is for support and compression and I am someone who had a horrible reaction to a spinal pain epidermal that I almost immediately had an allergic reaction to, both my calves and feet swelled-up to twice their normal size, by the next day I had blisters all over them (from the knees down), then they started to ooze lymph fluid down into my shoes. I got a referral to our local wound center where they told me the wounds were analogous to second and third degree burns, but from the inside, and I spent many months having to go weekly to get picked and cleaned and re-wrapped and have them slide on those compression tubes that they cut to length (stretchy and tight), they'd heal up, then they'd start all over again. They implored me to wear double "tubies" at all times but it was getting really old what with them riding-up all the time or working their way down from the top. I looked at many compression socks (medical grade) and was shocked at the prices ($20-$40+ per pair!), and a lot of cheaper ones with so-so reviews. I put these in my que (Wishlist) awhile back and sort of forgot about them and then after another frustrating round with the "tubies" I finally ordered these. Though they are tight to get on, they are SO much easier than what I'd been doing, they stay in place, they don't lose their shape or stretch out at all, and they shipped me 8 pairs for like $22.00. These are a staggeringly good value, thank you THANK YOU!

I did not buy these socks for medical reasons I just work outside all winter and like warm socks that stay up.
I did not buy these socks for medical reasons I just work outside all winter and like warm socks that stay up. Now mind you I do not buy cheap socks at Walmart. I buy good socks and have spent $10.00 to $25.00 for a pair of socks and very few of them actually come close to being as nice as these socks. It seems like most women's socks are paper thin, or don't fit me well. I need knee socks as I wear boots most days. Most socks are too short they only come half way up my calf. Then they slide down which is useless and annoying. Or they have this elastic band at the top that cuts off circulation. Or they bunch up around your toes, YUK. The Nylon socks fit and are comfy but not warm at all and I am allergic to wool. Someone suggested I try Compression socks so I purchased these. WOW I love them. They come up to my knee so they don't keep sliding down the curve of my calf, they don't bunch up in my boots and they actually make my legs feel great at the end of the day. I would recommend these to anyone looking for some comfortable socks that stay up and don't cut off the circulation in your legs with some ridiculous elastic band at the top. I purchased a package of 7 in black and will be ordering them in Navy and brown as well. Great socks! I wear a size 10 Womens shoe and I purchased a Lg/Xlg and they fit perfect

Excellent fit, quality and price
The price, quality, and fit of the product are excellent which is why I am giving 5 stars. I am 5'7" inches (and shrinking) with a short (29/30") inseam and a size 8.5 shoe size and the Small/Medium size fit me perfectly. A few years ago I had injured the back of my right leg and subsequently found my right foot and ankle swelling. I am trying them as and exam by my PCP and a sonar scan by a vascular specialist did not find a cause of the edema in my right foot and ankle ("no pathology found"). After a couple of years with little to no improvement (or significant worsening) I decided to try Compression stockings as they had been mentioned by my PCP as a possible treatment. It is too early to speak to how effective they will be for my specific condition as I have only worn them for a few days. I have seen no major improvement in the edema but it may take a bit longer for my body to react. I will say they are very comfortable. If I see any additional improvements or benefits I will edit update this post.

Comfy and They work...but...
Overall this product is doing what they said they would for me, however, for my husband, they are too small and too short and do not do what they are suppose to do. I bought the largest size for him and the ones we got work great for me. Yet that is not why I bought them. I purchased this product because it said that they went just below the knee and fit wide calf's, they do not. On my husband they barely come up to mid calf and he says that they cut off his circulation more than they helped. For that we had to give this a three star rating. On a Plus Note, I love them, for me a female I have had no trouble with them and love them. The thickness of the material used is great and easy to put on (again for me, not my husband)...But they were advertised as being able to work for Male and/or Female and that is just not the case in this instance. We will be returning the second set we purchased and try again to located a pair that will work with my Husband.

Nice socks that don’t have the usual ugly look of compression socks
So I’ve had these socks for a little over two years now I think and am finally getting around to a review bc I’ve been impressed by how well they’ve held up over that time. I don’t wear them every day but I do wear them a few times a week and they’ve been able to get through without a hole or major snag thus far. They look like normal knee high stockings which is something I would normally wear anyways so it’s a plus that they have some compression capabilities without looking like the usual stuffed sausage casing that most compression socks gives you. I did not think they were overly tight and thought they could be a little more snug. For those that need a very tight compression sock, these are probably not for you. But if you need something that still looks nice and gives a medium amount of compression than these will be nice! I ordered a size sm/medium and I have chunky calves and ankles from psoriatic arthritis and I wear a size 7 1/2 US sizing normally. They fit my feet pretty well. I think if you have really small feet, like a size 5 or 6 women’s then these may be a smidge big in your feet but for me they fit well. They came quickly and were packaged nicely. It’s a good deal for five pairs of socks and I would buy again.
