Great Value and Excellent Paper – Got Me into Journaling
I bought this RETTACY notebook hoping it would help me start journaling, and it’s honestly been better than expected. The leather cover is pretty average—nothing overly fancy—but it feels durable and holds up well. Where this notebook really shines is the paper quality. The pages are thick, smooth, and a pleasure to write on. I’ve used gel pens and even markers with no bleeding or ghosting.I also appreciate the numbered pages and ribbon bookmark, which help keep things organized. The A5 size is perfect—compact enough to carry around, but with enough room for full thoughts and reflections.Best of all, this notebook is a great value for the quality you’re getting. It feels like a much more expensive journal once you start using it. Since getting it, I’ve actually been excited to write every day. If you’re looking for a solid journal to get into a regular writing habit, this one’s a smart pick.Gift value:Really nice for young adultsValue for money:The Best!

Loved It So Much I Got It In Red📕‼️
Beautiful journal and love that it is available in so many colors for such a competitive price. The paper inside is on the thinner size but should hold up well to a fountain pen ✒️ or some more intense journaling but definitely would not be good for alcohol markers or watercolor. The journal itself lays flat when opened so BIG plus for journaling fanatics and includes 2 book marking ribbons.

Great quality while affordable
I bought this for $9.99 for my journaling.I've had it for a month and I'm happy with the quality of the notebook! Ink doesn't bleed through easily, but there is some ghosting which is my only issue with it. Writing is smooth, and I like how the notebook can be laid completely flat no matter what page you're on. It's pretty lightweight, and the cover quality is decent. It definitely could be scratched up, but so far I haven't had an issue with that. I'd say for the price its worth it. Its a nice notebook, and able to survive daily use and bending.

Sturdy, beautiful, and perfect for heavy use.
I use two of these journals at a time: one to plan my novel, and the other as a diary/braindump combo. I don't decorate the pages or do any impressive bujo designs, so I can't speak to how it would serve as a bullet journal. However, these babies see a lot of heavy writing use from me. I've purchased four of them so far and not a single one has disappointed.Page thickness is great. I accidentally spilled water on a couple pages and it didn't bleed through, which was shocking to me, given how affordable this journal is compared to most others listed. The pages are smooth and easy to write on, so be careful with any pens that might smudge or smear. The paper will certainly make it easier to pick up and spread wet ink on your hands. I'm a ballpoint user and I've noticed that finer tips work best, but even with the standard cheap-o pens, I just give them a minute or two to dry and then I'm highlighting all over them with no problem. It's solidly built. I've never had any issue with pages falling out, or the bookmark ribbons unfurling - and I'm writing in my journal at least 3 or 4 hours a day, constantly flipping back and forth through multiple brain dumps. (If you've got ADHD, you understand what I mean.) The color of the cover and ribbons are absolutely stunning, somehow prettier than the pictures show imo. I personalize the covers of my journals with stickers and writing, and whatever I put on has lasted.Overall, this journal has consistently impressed me by serving me well and I couldn't recommend a better one.

Leuchtturm1917 dupe
This journal is perfect if you’re looking for a cheaper option for a Leichtturm1917 journal. It has an index, numbered pages, back pocket, labels, and a pen holder. The pages are also very thick and work great for fountain and gel ink pens, no bleeding. The color variety is also nice as well.

It goes everywhere with me
I have bought several of these journals already and will continue to buy them. I use them for church sermon notes, Bible studies, and to take notes on the books I read. These journals are the perfect size to keep in my purse and I almost always have my current journal with me wherever I go. It takes me roughly 3 months to fill one. I make sure to order another one before my first one is full. I am not gentle with these journals, but they hold up beautifully!First impressions - the cover is clean and smooth. I love the variety of colors. (I get a different color every time I buy a new journal). The material on the cover is smooth and does not scratch easily. I shove my journals in my bag with water bottles, pens, wallet, and whatever else finds it’s way into my purse and I have yet to damage a journal. These journals even survive a week at youth camp with me! I like to write a simple verse on the cover with a sharpie and it stays on well. There’s an elastic on the back cover to wrap around the journal to keep it securely closed. There’s also a handy elastic pen loop so I don’t have to hunt down a pen when I want to quickly jot a thought down. There’s two ribbons to use as bookmarks. They are strong and sturdy and won’t rip out when you accidentally pull too hard on them. The first thing you see when you open the journal is a “cover page” where you can write your name and contact info on. It helps the journal find its way back to you if you accidentally leave it at a coffee shop.Next, you’ll find 3 pages of blank table of contents. I didn’t realize how wonderful this would be when I first bought one of these journals. There’s space for the page number(s) and topic. During my weekly reflections, I’ll go through that weeks worth of journal entries and give each one a title for the table of contents. I love being able to quickly find specific sermon notes or journal entries! The pages are numbered, making it easier to track on the table of contents. They are thick enough that pens and highlighters don’t bleed through. There’s a place at the top of each page for the date and a title for that day’s entry. It’s light enough that it’s not distracting if you don’t use it (like when an entry is more than one page long and doesn’t need a new date/title). The pages hold up well if you like to tape things on them. They’re thick enough that it doesn’t bother you when you write on the next page after something is taped on the other side. There are 188 pages in this journal. Pages 171-188 are perforated so you can tear them out. They are strong and don’t accidentally tear, but if you do need to take out a page, they come out neat and clean if you fold back and forth along the perforated lines. One of my favorite features is the pocket in the back of the journal. I keep all sorts of things in there! It’s secure (especially thanks to that elastic that keeps the journal closed) and things have yet to fall out.Overall, I absolutely love this journal! I am excited to one day have a rainbow of these journals on my shelves, full of sermon notes, bible studies, and all sorts of goodness.
