Is it tuned to 440Hz?

An instrument that has been hanging out in a Prime fulfillment warehouse waiting to be ordered will not be exactly A440, no matter what the advertisement says. This is going to be closer to A440 tuning than most the harmoniums that are advertised as A440 on Amazon. But in reality, if you care about actual reality, nothing sent / sold as quickly as Amazon requires is going to be super precisely tuned and settled to any exact tuning requirement. That's the downside to the Amazon model with these particular instruments. If you want precision tuning to A440 or any other specific requirement, anyone who is doing a proper set up will need more time than Amazon allows, and they're going to charge a service fee for the additional work / time required. All that being said, you won't find a harmonium on Amazon that is closer to A440 or better tuned in general. These harmoniums are intentionally not available on Prime, because that would not allow us the opportunity to complete one final set up and tuning right before shipment. These are definitely going to arrive around A440, but for the most precision, you might want to look into purchasing somewhere where the shipping timeline is allows for the extra service / time required. Beautiful instrument.

I bought this harmonium from this brand for 1 main reason, even when it didn’t have any reviews. I bought it because it was shipped from United States. I was reading reviews from other brands that come from India, and several say the instrument was scratched or even broken. That’s why I took the risk to buy this one without reviews and I’m glad I did it.The package arrived on time and it was very well packaged.After playing the harmonium for several months already, I can say that this is a very well made instrument. I am a beginner, never played one before so I don’t have any reference to compare, but I have eyes and ears LOL, and I love the sound, I love the wood, the color, etc. It comes with a “case” that protects very well the instrument.One suggestion for other beginners like me: read the instructions before jumping into making it sounds. I read reviews from other harmoniums and some people were saying that the keys didn’t even sound, if you are a beginner, first, you have to understand the instrument, how it works. You have to learn why the keys don’t sound and how to make it sound. I took my time and follow step by step the instructions. I even watch several videos on YouTube to know about it.I loved this instrument. I enjoy its sound. I never played a keyboard before and now I know that you DONT need to know how to play piano or keyboard to play Harmonium. It is not an easy instrument but it is easy if you take the time to know it.Finally, I want to say that this instrument was made in India (as they mentioned on the details of the product) and it was brought to USA by an USA company. They make sure the instrument is working properly before sending it to the costumer (another reason I bought it from them). Maybe I have payed more money for a similar instrument coming from India, but I didn’t want to waste my time asking for refunds or waste my money on a bad instrument.In the pic, that's where my Harmonium is located, close to my Meditation cushion. The other pic is the very first Day I got it. My son put both hands on the keys, if you are a beginner, that's not how it works LOL.
