Do these work good on wax colored pencils?

I do not use colored pencils, wax or oil based. Mostly charcoal or graphite. However, my wife has Prismacolor pencils and they are waxed based. So I used some of the wax based pencils on rather formidable drawing paper….would not erase. Especially deeper shades. So I tried the same pencils on regular typing/ bond paper. Still no kick. So, sorry to say, the results I got are not encouraging. They are wonderful for chalk, pastel, charcoal and graphite. But not so good for wax based pencils. Sorry….i hope this helped. C
