Originally purchased this for the dogs as teeth powder and it really does a great job! We still habe so much of it because you dont give them but a tiny bit per day on there food i sprinkle it! Easy to use, an algae smell but not bad. Ive also taken it but i didnt notice a taste:) I believe this is a great product and would purchase again in the future!

I hope this comes back in stock because the value and quality was unbeatable. I mix this with ground flax & glucosamine powder for my dog & she loves it. Also great to pop a small amount in a smoothie or stew for extra vitamins and nutrients. Just definitely use sparingly or all you'll taste is kelp. One 2 pound bag has lasted me well over 6 months using it daily for my dog, so that should give you an idea of how much is in there!

I use this ingredient as a dog food topper because the dog food topper ingredient in Pro Den Plaque Off is exactly this ingredient, but in a six ounce container with a very small scoop and is 60 bucks for six ounces. Here I'm getting two pounds of this for 13 bucks. I also realize that this ingredient is great for humans too, and so I'm using this for me as an iodine supplement and it's great so yeah me and yay to my pups!

Way too much, still on the couple of occasions I take it mindful to not overdo knowing it has iodine and can affect ur thyroid.... That said, if there was a heaven, I be trmpted to say heaven to betsy even the powder along taste good still keeping in mind discretion is of greatest importance regarding serving size......

I bought this to add to my chicken and goose feed and I couldn’t be happier. It’s affordable, and they don’t seem to mind it in their feed at all! I only add about 3/4 cup to a 30 lb bag or a cup to a 50 lb. It adds tons of nutrients and vitamins and Amino acids that help keep their immunity up, their feathers full and shiny, and also improves their yolks and shells. All around a very affordable and safe option for your flock, and depending how many you have it should last a very long time.

I used this kelp powder in a spa themed soap bar. The results were exactly as I hoped for. Unfortunately I cannot provide any feedback regarding the product’s usage as a food additive, but as a soap additive I found that the amount of kelp powder included may last me for years. Good value for money.

I was looking to buy the sea kelp Ascophyllum nodosum to use as a dental supplement for myself and my dogs, as this is the scientifically backed active ingredient in many products. I am annoyed that this product came up near the top of the search results when I typed in "Ascophyllum nodosum powder," because this kelp is actually a Laminaria spp, which I did not notice until I received the bag. I have done extensive research and while it is possible that this kelp has similar health benefits to Ascophyllum nodosum, there are limited, if any, publications to support that, and I simply do not want to risk giving an unproven product to my dogs.
