If you have a recliner, when the foot rest is in it may press against the two forward-facing pockets or crush their contents. This isn't the fault of the manufacturer, though. Even in this instance, it still really fits a lot of stuff. With my tablet, phone, remotes, Swiss Army knife, extra batteries etc. the weight of the whole thing tends to make it slowly shift towards the outside of the chair, so I bought fabric screws for $3 that did the trick keeping it in place.

One sits on my chair and one on my partner's chair. We can put water, pens, glasses, remotes, small tablets, phones, tissues, and other things in these pockets. They snug into the cushion and unless the weight is very heavy, they stay put.

It didn't fit the sofa at all.

They stay in place, look good & clean easy with a terrific price. A little wide for my swivel rockers arms but nothing that looks bad & because they stay in place so well it’s not a problem.
