60 Quart Stainless Steel Stock Pot with Rack & Lid by Ballington

I got both the 60 qt. and 80 qt. sizes. The metal is thick enough to be sturdy but not too heavy to handle. A pot this size does have some weight to it but is not too hard to handle with two hands. I wanted stainless steel because it is the cleanest, safest material for a pot. The bottom is about the same thickness as the sides. This is a good feature. Stainless steel is a very poor conductor of heat, so a thick bottom would just allow more heat to escape around the sides of the pot. The bottom is thick enough to take a beating but thin enough to heat quickly and distribute the heat well. It's just right. Everything arrived well-packaged and in great condition. You should probably go ahead and buy some. If you don't you are just a big fat chicken. They will take at least a day or two to ship so you can buy the wife some flowers before they come in and you tell her she has to move her car out of the garage to make room for your pots.

I make pickles the pot started to scratch and peel on the second use. I didn't complain until it started rusting. This pot should only be used with a wooden spoon. When I called bellington they only gave excuses about about overheating. Or how I cleaned. I have sent pictures of all. And they still said they could not help. Do not spend your money here. If you have a problem they will not help. This pot has only been used three or four times. And I could not find a phone number on amazon to voice my complaint.. If you see this Amazon, please call. I would like to file a complaint. It is unsafe for metalic particles to enter food . Please look up prior listings at the time of purchase.It is false advertisement.

Pot came with multiple dings and dents all over, but looks like good enough quality for brewing beer for the price

I have to return it. The pot looks more like sixty gallons than sixty quarts. We have a thirty quart pot and this pot is five times larger. It has certainly not been used and hardly removed from the box. It's ideal for a restaurant owner.

Been looking for a large stock pot like this. And first thing I look on every product I buy is the rating and other people's comment about a product. This one have some low rate but most of it is in 4 or 5 stars. I really need a large stock pot and since the price is very nominal, I think what the heck, I'll buy it and let's see how it works. So, When I receive it, holy crap, this one is huge and yes it's not that very high end but for its price range, you can't go wrong. Other stock pot like this range from three to six hundred bucks. Maybe the quality is not that high but price and quality, you can't be wrong.
